Mutant Royalty on Tour

Postby Domanic Taylor » Wed Jul 22, 2009 10:20 pm

The Limousine pulls up to the North Campus, and Magnus indicates that he would like to walk, rather than drive the tour. Everyone piles out of the car, Lumis's skin does a brief ripple as he does a 360 check of his surroundings.

"This is probably the most traditional part of our campus, and we've kept the faux medieval style that's so common to universities around the world, for our main buildings here."

The bookworm stepped out of the car, moved behind Magneto and followed them on their tour, she did not want anything to happen to this one.

Jayda, having slipped out to open the door for their guest, closes it behind the last occupant to exit. Taking her habitual place by Lumis' shoulder she eyes the others once again, her gaze sweeping the length of the girl introduced earlier in the day as Sara, her gaze assessing.

Bloody Teeps. Jayda turned her eyes back to the others, studying the form of Exodus next.

Sara let the girl's thoughts go by without doing anything. She didn't want to start anything in front of an honored guest such as Erik Lehnsherr.

Exodus glanced slowly over to Jayda and for a moment she'd feel like she was trapped in a room with a dangerous predator. He smiled faintly before returning his attention to their guide.

"A grand campus, Lumis," Exodus agreed casually, looking almost bored.

Jayda was hit with a surge of adrenalin and it was only due to her training that her hand didn't stray to her gun, seeking out the reassurance of it. She slipped it into her pocket instead, her step lighter and a smile tugging on her lips.

Maybe this one would find a way to kill me.

"Thank you Exodus." Lumis ignores the boredom, and continues the tour. "This part of the campus has all the 'normal' scholastic disciplines, as well as departments more suited to mutant studies that don't require any kind of hands-on education."

He starts the tour moving South.

Ms. McManus stepped out of one of the academic buildings, eyeing the tour group. She'd assumed the telepaths Lensherr had sent were the advance party, but the arrival of one of Exodus' stature on campus had raised her concern.

"Discussion is healthy in an academic environment. I do try to make sure that views that are normally marginalized are instead well represented here, as I did with the Jade Youth Society."

He catches sight of Samantha, since he's watching everything, but doesn't wave her over.

"After all, even the most radical ideas deserve representation and consideration, even if they don't warrant action," Cassiel agreed. He didn't give Exodus a look as he said it... his intent was written plainly enough on his mind that he didn't have to.

But since you are, I'd rather the London police have arrested him at the airport.

Do it more quietly. And be respectful. Cassiel's expression didn't change, and he didn't even look at Will, but there was something more than a little threatening to the tone of his thoughts.

Jayda noticed the looks between Sara and Will, obviously some teep funkery was going on, from the expressions on their faces.

Nice and professional, can't even keep her head on the job for five seconds.

Catching the glance her way Jayda smirked and shook her head in disbelief, her own eyes shifting for a moment as she went back to her self imposed watches.

Jayda's mind seemed to leak thoughts that didn't synch together cohesively. One part very obviously focused on the job and the other.. slightly off.

View from the MA - clear. Library roof - clear. Movement on the fringe of the crowd.. students with no fixed agenda apparently.. 4 cuts and you can flay the skin from an average height human male, one of each heel and the nape of the neck, an incision from the collarbone down to the...
