"I have no idea what it is, but whatever it is is freaking awesome," Cal said appreciatively.

"Technically, he's my ability," Eddie says, watching as Fen attempts to shake some scared looking squirrels out of a tree.

[Calvin Strong]

"He- huh? Is this like that guy on Alpha Flight who's horse had the super powers, not him?"

[Alyson Carmichael]

The angel walks over to Fen and the tree... "They are afraid of you.." She spoke softly.

[Calvin Strong]

"She... doesn't get that dogs like squirrels to be afraid of them, does she."

[Edward Carver]

"He- huh? Is this like that guy on Alpha Flight who's horse had the super powers, not him?"

"Never heard of him," Eddie says, "They say Fen is some sort of psychic construct. Something my mind makes real."

"But basically, I summon him and he protects me."

Fen ignores Alyson, shaking the tree with it's front paws.

"I'm just hoping he doesn't burn another tree down," Eddie says, keeping an eye on Fen.

"Mr. Huggles is up there, Puppy..." She said placing her hand on the dog's back.

[Edward Carver]

Fen growls, flickers of flame coming from his mouth.

"Fen! Come on! We're going!" Eddie calls out. Fen looks annoyed but steps away from tree, pushing roughly past Alyson as he heads towards Eddie.

"It was good meeting all of you," Eddie says cheerfully.

[Calvin Strong]

"Ah... yeah, that might be a good plan. You want a beer? Let's go get a beer," Cal said, eyeing the girl who was naming squirrels and calling a big-ass hellhound a puppy suspiciously.

[Alyson Carmichael]

"I'm not old enough to drink..." She said tilting her head toward the boy.

[Edward Carver]

"I don't drink," Eddie says, "But I could use something cold."

[Mercy Wilkins]

"I will never turn down beer, so this sounds like an excellent plan."

[Juma Ngomo]

Juma's making his way through the quad when he spots a few familiar faces. He shifts his path over to them, waving when he's close by.

Mercy smiles, and waves at Juma. "Hello!"

[Juma Ngomo]

"Good day," he smiles, moving up very close to Mercy but also greeting the others.

Mercy kisses Juma lightly on the lips, and wraps her wings around him briefly, then pulls back, holding his hand.

[Alyson Carmichael]

"Hello, sir." She said waving to the man called Juma.

[Juma Ngomo]

He happily returns the kiss in kind, then smiles to Alyson. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Juma."

[Edward Carver]

"Hey there," Eddie says, "I'm Eddie. This is Fen."

Fen glowers at Juma.

[Juma Ngomo]

Juma's stared down his fair share of predators. The dog looks mean enough, but also kind of like a snack. "It is good to meet you, Eddie. Fen," he adds with a nod to the hellhound.

[Mercy Wilkins]

Mercy leans against Juma's side. "We're going for a beer, come with us?"

[Juma Ngomo]

"Absolutely." With his extra height, he's able to gently drape an arm over Mercy's shoulders and not inconvenience her wings too much. "Though I don't think they allow pets."

[Mercy Wilkins]

"The pet is flexible about things like that as I understand."

[Juma Ngomo]

"Well then, what are we waiting for?"

[Edward Carver]

"Since he's part of my mutation, I do get some minor considerations," Eddie says with a smile.

[Mercy Wilkins]

"Nothing, onward!" Mercy points, and starts walking, still snuggled up to Juma.

[Alyson Carmichael]

"My name is Alyson" She told him, before walking back over to the tree that Mr. Huggles ran up. "I'll see you later alright, Mr. Huggles?"

[Juma Ngomo]

He laughs and moves along, hugging Mercy tighter with one arm. "Come along, Alyson!"

The girl quickly ran over to them to catch up.
