Sara blinks at the squirrel and stops, never having noticed any animals around the Quad.

"Oh, sorry. I'm Sara."

Mr. Huggles leaned off of her shoulder and sniffed Sara's hand. He tilted his head to the side before hopping over. "Everyone likes music...not just people.."

Mercy reaches toward the squirrel, but it darts away from her almost immediately. "Ah well. Most animals don't like me much."

Must be what her power is... "Still, pretty unusual." She twists her head to look at the squirrel that has 'fled' from Mercy along her arm and to her shoulder.

"No, it's the Darkforce. Only a few animals will tolerate it at all." Mercy smiles. "It's alright, I'm not a big animal person."

Eddie nods, glancing across the quad at a large black shape came towards the group.

An enormous black dog the size of a horse padded towards them in silence. It eyed the group suspiciously as it came close, moving towards Eddie's side.

Eddie smiled at the dog, patting it's shoulder.

Fen gives a warning growl, a brief but deep sound that seems to reach the pit of your stomach.

"Don't be a jerk," Eddie says, slugging Fen in the shoulder lightly. The dog looks at Eddie for a moment then appears to be sulking.

I am not cute, wretched angel.

Fenrir gives an unpleased "whumpf" and stalks away, spotting a squirrel a ways off and taking off in chase.

"Yeah," Eddie laughs, "He's a softy."

Cal walked through the quad, eyeing Mercy and Alyson as he approached. "Something tells me I'm behind on my fashionable mutations," he mused.
