"Ok" Dr. Crusher said, taking a breath "If you decide to have an abortion, its a fairly simple procedure at this point, and wouldn't require surgery. If you decide to give the baby up for adoption, XU will put you in contact with a couple of highly reputable agencies that specialize in pairing mutant children with good mutant families. If you decide to raise the child yourself, the school will put you on administrative duties, and allow you to keep your X-team stipend. You would also have the option of moving into the school owned family housing. Your scholarship covers dorm fees, correct?"

She nods at the question. "Administrative duties? You mean staying in the X-Team program and doing... something else that's not fighting?"

Answering Sara's question first, Dr. Crusher said "Yes. A lot of it would be coordinating when the teams are on missions, property inventory, and generally helping with all of the administrative tasks that are needed for the X-teams. " she paused, and then addressed Will's question "The family housing is on the outskirts of campus."

"The school has a childcare center that is subsidized for students. It is only open during normal school hours, but it might be possible to arrange private childcare for other situations. I'd suggest speaking to Binary about that. As for your classes, Ms. Evans, since your due date is June 24th, you shouldn't have to miss any classes, although it might be advisable to take a less difficult course load in the fall." she smiled a little "No matter what you decide, there isn't any easy option here. But we want to make it as easy as possible."

"I... guess. Still, I couldn't just continue with a double-major then, at least not for a while. And... I know money propably shouldn't play a role in this, but neither me nor my parents are particularly wealthy... would daycare and all of that be covered?"

Will turned to face Sara. "Even if it's not, I'm sure my parents could help us out with that, Sara," he said.

A pretty obvious realization that she managed to avoid so far sinks in. "Oh god... how am I going to tell my prents about this?! They haven't even met you yet..."

Dr. Crusher had been listening to them discuss things for a bit, and then said "As far as money goes...the daycare and housing isn't going to be free, but it is heavily subsidized. Also, you may be eligible for government assistance, Sara, since you are a British citizen. I'll put you in contact with someone who can work with you on that, if you think you want to raise the child yourself. If you like, I can also put you in contact with someone who will explain your options regarding adoption."

"There are a few other dietary things, the big one is to limit your intake of fish, because of high levels of mercury. Other than that, try to eat a balanced diet, with plenty of protien. You'll gain around 25 pounds, but that will be over the whole pregnancy, and you only need to add about 500 calories to your diet. You should also take a pre-natal vitamin, you can either get it over the counter, or I can prescribe one. Now, since you aren't having trouble shifting, I don't think that you should try to avoid it. But, if you notice it getting more difficult to shift, don't force it."

"No, bubble wrap won't be needed. As long as she avoids skydiving and strenuous exercise, she'll be fine. And because you aren't asking, its perfectly safe for her to have sex."
