"There are a few other dietary things, the big one is to limit your intake of fish, because of high levels of mercury. Other than that, try to eat a balanced diet, with plenty of protien. You'll gain around 25 pounds, but that will be over the whole pregnancy, and you only need to add about 500 calories to your diet. You should also take a pre-natal vitamin, you can either get it over the counter, or I can prescribe one. Now, since you aren't having trouble shifting, I don't think that you should try to avoid it. But, if you notice it getting more difficult to shift, don't force it."
