Rachel had been quietly connecting herself to the brains of the thugs, holding back until it was clear that they were the ones doing the attacking. Once shots were fired she let loose. The first, Nomic caused their their bladders and bowels let loose. For good measure she constricted their pupils, making it difficult for them to see properly, and caused their stomachs to go into overdrive, giving them massive, almost instant heartburn. Nothing that would cause permanent injury, but enough to debiliate them.

Right away, the thugs stop attacking Will, falling down in distress, yelling and soiling themselves.

"Remind me never to piss you off. I need a shower now."

With no more eminent threat from the thugs on the ground, Will morphs back into a humanoid shape--although not his standard. The musculature is more reminiscent of a boxer or gymnast--and then there's the brass knuckles, and rest of the hands.

"Let's see what we got now."

He turns to walk towards the van and the others, but stops after a couple of steps.

Whew. Gotta catch my breath for a sec.

"Gwion's fine. Opening the truck now." Con radioed back before addressing the team.

"Trauma Pack, check on Gwion and then the other casualties. Nomic, I assume that was your doing, good job."

Still maintaining overwatch for any sniper attack on the truck he continued "Genbu, open up that roof."

Sorry. I'll buy you a beer later. Rachel said to Will, adding a brief Thanksto Con. Once she got it started, it was relatively easy to keep their vision impared and stomachs in pain, so she wasn't helpless as she'd been the other day.

Genbu tears the truck open, revealing barrels and barrels of gasoline. Open flames are not a good idea at the moment.

He made a somewhat disgusted face at the sight of all the thugs on the ground. He shook his head.

"Man..Nomic." He smiled over at Will. "Good holding up Gwoin."

Constantine doesn't see a sniper, but he does see another group of men, no, make that two groups of men, six each, moving toward the park. One of the groups has a clear street between them and the park, the other is heading toward that crowd of mutant locals that's been cheering Team 2 on.

While Nina is doing that, the thugs that are advancing on the group of cheering mutants brandish their weapons. Many of the mutants scatter, a few seem to be preparing to fight, but none of them look like they have particularly combat-oriented mutations.

Shaman and Genbu run toward the group that's menacing the locals, and it looks like they'll make it before the thugs do. Partly because on seeing a massive lizard-man and some kind of were-cat man charging them, the thugs slow up quite a bit.

The thugs look at each other, and one of them turns to another. "Ey, Tom, ya got that big tazer they gave ya?" Tom nods, and pulls out a big, police-issue tazer, and points it at John.

Genbu grabbed one of the smaller lamp posts and broke it off near the base . He pointed it at 'Tom.'

Tom fires, as the scary lizard man ripping up a light post is really good incentive to taze him. Tazers are fairly easy to use, so Tom's aim will be good unless John can dodge pretty well.

Meanwhile, the other thugs have visions of being swept with that thing en-masse, so they scatter to the sides. Juma moves forward toward a couple of them.

The projectile electrodes fail to penetrate Genbu's outer hide. He smirked. He then swung at the air.

"Next hits you... unless you care to surrender."

Tom decides to show surrender and backside at the same time, dropping the taser and running flat out away from Genbu as fast as he can go. Which is pretty fast, considering the man is in a state of mortal terror.

Of the other thugs, two of them are being occupied by Juma. However, the other three are moving toward the local mutants that stuck around, which will make swinging that lamp post difficult without hitting one of the locals.
