Jayda lingered by the doorway waiting to catch sight of a particular blonde guy. She was showered and vampire gore free, hell she even smelled like a girl.

Damn perfumed shower wash, making me smell all vanilla and cinnamon.

"And Victoria's Secret? His name is really Ralph and he's an overweight 40 year old living in his mother's basement."

As they sat Jayda cast her eyes around the nearly empty dining hall then looked back to Kevin, turning serious sable eyes on him from under her fringe.

"I'm glad you are okay, having both of you in the hospital.. I.. I'm just glad you're not."

Jayda listened in silence, choosing not to comment until it was over.

"I can't say that I'm not a little inclined to make some comments regarding your heroics and knight in shining armour status..." She said with a smirk. A large part of her found the idea of him facing off with hell hounds, swords ablaze, very attractive and she wondered if she was strange for that.

"You wouldn't consider yourself a natural leader?" Her tone was curious.

"Are you the guy who people gravitate towards naturally? Do you tend to take a dominant role in team discussions? Do people look to you for answers?"
