Sept 28 - Xub1 - It's the Post Mindfuck Blues

[Kathrin Schmidt]

Being cleared after a long day of being poked and prodded by telepaths Kathrin has made her way to the Xub to drown out any residual guilt and her still somewhat aching jaw in copius amounts of alcohol. She propably should go and apologize to her team-mates and especially Con, but she didn't want to face that right now.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Is this the outcast area?" Victoria asked, tiredly, taking her seat at the bar.

[Kathrin Schmidt]

Kat glares at Victoria due to the last time she had seen her the woman had been gleefully intending to kill her, but that expression quickly vanishes as she remembers that she'd been in a similar spot. "Sorry... yeah, looks like it. I guess 'I didn't mean to do it' doesn't help much with rumours."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Not really," Victoria sighed. "And, of course, all the yelling and glares, as if having your brain hijacked isn't humiliating enough."

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"Tell me about it... Ugh! I can't believe I let that creepy old fart near me to begin with."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria smirked. "Blame mind tricks. I don't have anything to blame except that my vampire was sexy, I didn't believe in vampires, and I was trying to figure her out."

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"It's not like I don't know about doing stupid things. At least you got some eye candy out of it, from the sound of things. I just feel dirty and will propably smell like old guy for a week." Grabbing an already poured shot she downs it.

Victoria quirked an eyebrow. "You didn't actually... did you?"

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"God no!" Kathrin pulls a disgusted face. "He 'only' drank my blood, but he was being so creepy about it it almost feels like I did."

Victoria shuddered. "If anyone asks? Say he did it when he caught you sleeping in class."

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"Good idea. At least it's over now. I just wish I could sock people giving me crap without reinforcing their 'She's gone rogue' notion. Gonna have to find a sports-bar and insult the local team once this has gone away completely..." She rubs her still sore jaw.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Maybe we can just convince people that Con went rogue and you were just the only one to notice it at first," Victoria said, a bit darkly.

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"Hah, maybe. For the fact that he wasn't mind-controlled he seemed to take a bit too much pleasure in breaking my jaw."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Yeah, and he fucking stabbed me. So I won't shed any tears if he catches some of our shit."

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"Seriously? Fuck, what the hell did he think he was doing?"

[Victoria Valentine]

"Beats the fuck out of me," Victoria mused. She lifted her shirt, looking at the scar on her ribs, that would've had to go through quite a few... rather vital parts of her. "Doesn't look like he was fucking around, though."

"Shit, how did you even survive that? Now I'm almost glad she just punched me out..."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria shrugged, pulling her shirt back down. "When you're this fabulous, something like that's easy," she said, winking.

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"Ah, the secret power of being awesome." she grins.

[Victoria Valentine]

"We sure weren't vampire targets because we're mediocre," Victoria smirked.

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"I'll drink to that. I'm just glad nothing worse came of it than a broken leg and I guess with my jaw that kinda makes Con and me even."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Let's just drink to everything until we don't care anymore. Desperate times call for low class measures."

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"Hear hear. I just hope my roomie's not pissed enough to abandon our plans to hit the town."

Victoria raised her glass to the idea. "Well, if she's going to be a so... overreactive about things, we'll just have to make sure we have fun without her."

"Well we were going to look for the meanest looking bar we can find and, dunno, topple over someone's Harley or something, so I'm not sure we're on the same page of 'fun' here." she chuckles.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria chuckled. "Maybe not. I'm sure we can find some way to cause trouble, though."

"Right now, though... Drunk. More. I need to be."

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"Yeah. And hey, we can count ourselves lucky they didn't just try to turn one of us. This way we don't have to drink on our own; much less pathetic." she grins.

"My brain got fucked by a vampire, and all I got was this lousy hangover," Victoria mused, picking her drink up and starting to down it.
