Jess was still out of it when she arrived in Medical. A quick scan would reveal that none of the blood that was on her was actually hers. However, she'd sustained internal injuries from her fight with the vampire, whilst they'd luckily prevented her from being able to tear Sergei's throat out, they'd only been exacerbated by his crushing bear hug

Difficulty in breathing was the most obvious sign of damage, a more through check would reveal broken ribs and heavy internal bleeding.

Rhi arrived on Jubilee's shiny disc of awesomeness. A couple of near misses had occurred but the girl was thankfully unconscious, she'd had the hell beaten out of her tiny frame and scans would reveal dislocated left elbow, shoulder and two broken wrists - internal injuries would also be apparent.

The doctors, alerted just a bit before about the crisis, were already in full gear with other students who had fared about as well as Jess and Rhi had. While the healers were already swamped, regular doctors and nurses got to work immediately on the two girls. They set to work immediately, working to fix the girls' internal injuries, set Rhi's dislocated joints, and in general take care of them as if there were no healers there. They did, after all, have pride in their jobs.

Jess had needed surgery to stop the blood filling her chest cavity from crushing her lungs, whislt neither the vamp or Sergei would have injured her that badly on their own, the combination hadn't been pretty. She was going to hypovolemic, and in intensive care until a healer was free, but she was out of immediate danger.

Aside from that was going to have wonderfully bruised ribs (not counting the 2 broken ones) and spine when she came round, fortunate that Sergei hadn't done any lasting damage to her back.

The doctor didn't dignify that with a response and instead said "Just wait, and Dr. Dolittle will be in to see you shortly."

A few minutes later a tall, heavily built woman came in "What seems to be the problem, Arctos?" she asked, glancing at his chart as she spoke.

"There isn't any need to be macho about it, but if you don't want it, that is fine by me." she said, getting the supplies she needed to get the bullets out and disinfect the wound.

I've never been hurt this bad... maybe a little painkiller would be nice...

"On second thought... drug me up Doctor."

"I thought you might say that." she said, dropping the first bullet into the tray. A few minutes later she came back and gave him a shot, then continued to work getting the bullets out, then cleaning, and stitching up his other wounds. Once she was finished she said "Ok, I've done what I can. Now, I want you to stay here over night for observation. Don't try to shift until morning, ok?"

After the helicopters touched down, Nina was wheeled in on a stretcher and briefly attended to by some of the doctors. Physically, she seemed fine, though the doctors made a note to send in a telepath later to evaluate her mental state.

After the initial diagnosis, Nina just lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling.

When Teams 1 and 3 returned to the school, Ryan was helped into the infirmary. He looked like hell, with the gun wound in his arm, and the severe beating he took from Jezebelle.

Belle was off dreaming about shoes and hot guys while she hopefully had her wounds attended too. She took two shots in the torso and on in her arm. She would need surgery to remove the bullets and lots of blood to replace the large amount that she spilled.

Will had no wounds he couldn't fix himself, but he came to bring in a one-legged vampire.

"You're gonna need to stop her from bleeding, she seems to have forgotten her leg at the combat site. Do we have a secure wing or something?"

Jayda reported to the infirmary like she had been told too. Apart from the vampire gore on her suit she was fine, not even a bruise or hair out of place. Looking around at all the causalities she knew she was lucky, she grabbed the arm of a passing by medic and told them so.

"Look buddy, my names Jayda Nightridge - team 6 and I was told to report here but I'm fine. Honestly. Not a bump.. so what say you just make the squiggle on your clipboard and let me go hit the showers, yeah?"

"Skywalker!" Jayda was obviously pleased to see him, her face lighting up and her stomach flipping. Why is he so good looking?

After getting checked out and having nothing worse than one or two very minor bruises she pays a short visit to Nina, sighing at the fact that her current state is in a way her fault.

Of course, I had to leave her leg behind at the site. I hope a doctor takes her off my hands soon; I'm not happy with playing tourniquet."
