Two vampires dropped through the ceiling, landing between Kevin and Kelly and showering both with bits of debris.

One grabbed Kevin from behind, slamming him savagely into the wall, the other aimed a heavy kick at Kelly's gut.

OW!

"Bad move asshole," he groaned as he peeled himself from the wall, blades whipping around to attack both vamps.

Although Kelly was better in the air he was still agile enough to dodge attacks on the ground and with his falcon vision it only made it only easier for him. He quickly went to grab the leg of the vampire and hurle it towards one of Kevin's swords. He also made sure his claws dug in for extra damage.

The vampire that had attacked Kev ducked under the swing, snapping out a foot to sweep Kev's legs out from under him.

The one Kelly had by the foot whipped it's other leg up, tearing free as it kicked Kelly in the head, landing on the floor in a crouch.

Kevin's reflexes kicked in and he hopped over the sweep and cut at the leg, then (whether he hits or not) focused both swords on his foe in simultaneous high & low slashes.

Kelly's grip did slip and the vamps' leg was free. He did see the second leg come for his head. He swiftly grabbed it but wasn't strong enough to fully stop the blow and ended up smacking himself in the head with his own hand. Stumbling back a bit disoriented he tried to regain foucs. After quickly regaining his barring he backed off a bit from his foe to give space between the two; mostly to avoid kicking.

If any of the vampires managed to glance out the window they'd have been treated to a rather large blue eye staring in at them from the outside. Inside was far too cramped to use her powers to their fullest so she had opted to flank the attackers instead in her own unique fashion. Her gigantic hand came crashing through the glass window as she reached inside, trying to grab whatever vampire she could reach.

The vampire, in the meantime, seemed dazed by the silent explosion.

Winston winced as the ball "popped" against his head, it stung a little as his power absorbed most of its force, though his ears rang horribly, the noise the bomb had made had been deafening, though nothing he wasn't already used to.

It seemed to faze the Vampire more than it did him and Winston used the brief advantage of the destraction to continue his attempt to tear off the Vampires ear with his teeth, whilst the shoulder the Vampire had bitten into and the hand that was now on the back of the Vampires neck exploded.

The vampire's neck blew apart, the head rollng off down the hall as it's body collapsed to the floor.

Unfortunately Winston and Ayami's respite was shortlived as more vampires came crashing through the ceiling. Ayami, the more unfortunate, was caught in the temple by a piece of falling debris, sending he spinning to the floor.

The only thing shorter lived than Winston and Ayami's respite was the vampires as colored balls went...

POP!

POP!

POP!

Blowing off the backs of the vampire's heads, taking out three of them.

Winston sat himself up, brushing off debris as the vampires corpses fell around him. Something had suprised him more than that however, having just realised that during his scuffle he'd stopped feeling pain from his wounds, though as soon as he saw Ayami collapse the pain had returned to him sharply.

Spitting out the ear that now hung from inbetween his teeth and wiping the blood out of his eyes, Winston got to his feet and stumbled towards Ayami, cringing at his wounds which continued to pump out blood onto what little was left of his singlet, though really it was now no more than a few strands of cloth slung over a single shoulder. Reaching the rainbow haired girl he kicked her lightly in the side and said all he could think of in that situation, "Hey, you ok?"

Winston knelt down, outwardly trying to keep himself composed, inwardly swearing at himself and at the girl. He could hear her breathing and tried to sigh in relief, though it instead caused him to choke on partially coughed up blood.

Win struggled back onto his feet and turned to smile faintly at the approaching teacher, "Hi, um....thank you...for...that," he motioned at the trio of corpses who were missing the back of their heads, courtesy of Jubilee, before glancing between Ayami, the teacher and the fight going on further down the corridor, "She-she's, I think she's hurt...she should probably be, uh, ta-taken away."

Winston seemed to stumble on the spot in search of balance, putting an arm against the wall to support himself. After a few deep breathes he glared at the commotion occuring down the hall and slowly shambled towards it. Mother-fucking Mother-fuckers...ruined my shirt.

"Yes, she is." Jubilee said, materializing a platform under Ayami "Can you walk with her to the infirmary?"

Kev's first strike left a shallow cut across the vampires leg, his follow up attack leaving a deeper slash across it's abdomen as it swayed back out of range of the chest strike. Springing back, it lashed a clawed hand out at Kev.

Ronnie's hand closed around one of three vampires closing on Jubilee from the rear. One backed up, away from the giant hand, drawing it's gun whilst the other leapt at Jubilee.

Kevin took a deep scratch across the chest and retaliated by attempting to lop off the offending limb with one blade and attack from behind with the other.

(clarification - the swords are in flight mode)

Winston stopped his slow descent down the hall at Jubilees words and turned around to face Ayami, grumbling, "Yes mam."

As he turned he caught sight of the leaping vampire and motioned vaguely at it as he walked away in a weak effort to give Jubilee some kind of heads up, knowing she could handle it.

"Thanks" Jubilee said, grinning at Winston as she exploded the vampire "I'll take care of the one Alice missed, get Mood out of here."

"No problem mam." Winston smiled as the Vampire rolled past him in a bloody heap and exploded one of his feet on its chest as he walked over it. Ayami, suspended by a floating disc of light, hovered ahead of him as they made their way to the stairs and Win couldn't help but think, What kind of name is Mood?

Having grabbed her prize "Alice" pulled her arm out from the building, standing up straight and holding her captive several stories above the ground. She smiled, showing off her large mouth filled with very big teeth.

"I wouldn't be able to swallow you whole, I'd have to bite at least once. 'nless you decide to be a good little vampire an' just give up." While standing up she looked at the roof of the dorm for any signs of where the vampires were coming from.

Before the vampire could even land land a blow on Kelly he saw the first fist going for his face. He quickly snatched the vampires wrist with his claws with enough force to pierce its veins. Next he would jump and used his flight to help get over the vamp to twist its arm to hopefully dislocate it; just barely missing the cieling. Hopefully, once over he would drop to a crouch and spin kick to trip the vampire.

As Veronica lifted the vampire out, Jubilee stuck with success and exploded another firework at the base of the vampire's skull.

The vampire that Jubilee had attacked exploded messily.

The vampire Kevin was fighting also went down messily, one arm cut off and his back almost split open by Kevin's blade.

Second only in mess to these was the one that Kelly had attacked as he collapsed to the ground, rapidly bleeding out.

Once these last two vampires were down, silence fell over Sydney Hall, as people looked around, battered and bloody and realized that all the vampires in the hall were dead.

Veronica handed over her captive to the campus security, dwindling down once she was certain they had the vampire properly restrained. She made her way quickly to the dorm exit and started helping the wounded to the infirmary.
