The vampire, in the meantime, seemed dazed by the silent explosion.
Winston winced as the ball "popped" against his head, it stung a little as his power absorbed most of its force, though his ears rang horribly, the noise the bomb had made had been deafening, though nothing he wasn't already used to.
It seemed to faze the Vampire more than it did him and Winston used the brief advantage of the destraction to continue his attempt to tear off the Vampires ear with his teeth, whilst the shoulder the Vampire had bitten into and the hand that was now on the back of the Vampires neck exploded.

Kelly St Luc wrote:Kelly's grip did slip and the vamps' leg was free. He did see the second leg come for his head. He swiftly grabbed it but wasn't strong enough to fully stop the blow and ended up smacking himself in the head with his own hand. Stumbling back a bit disoriented he tried to regain foucs. After quickly regaining his barring he backed off a bit from his foe to give space between the two; mostly to avoid kicking.

Inside was far too cramped to use her powers to their fullest so she had opted to flank the attackers instead in her own unique fashion. Her gigantic hand came crashing through the glass window as she reached inside, trying to grab whatever vampire she could reach.

The vampire snarled at Kelly, quickly reclosing the range and launching a flurry of blows at his head and body.
