There was a thud behind the group as Con dropped, literally, to the ground.

Straightening up, he pulled out his smokes.

"I should have brought a zippo." he mused. "Crosswinds up there are playing havoc with my matches.

One of the other thugs is getting a bit red in the face at not being taken seriously. Finally, he blurts out, "Oh yeah? Well you won't be laughin when we bring a fuckin' bomb in here, now will ya?"

The leader turns on the loudmouth, enraged. "You stupid shit! Shut your gob!" He smacks the loudmouth across the face, and the man staggers back, holding his cheek and looking sullen.

A dingy looking truck comes rattling down the street, honking in an effort to make other vehicles get out of its way.

The thug leader at the park smiles viciously. "Well now you're proper fucked, ain't ya?"

Shaman slows down as he nears the group again, standing carefully balanced on the balls of his toes as he draws on his cat-form, muscles rippling into stronger, faster groupings. He's definitely not feeling very diplomatic right now so he looks from one target to the next as predator watches prey.

The delivery truck gunning for the park conjured the image in his mind of the black van that was used to abduct him and his mother. He had to stop it

"I can stop the truck! Just give the word!" he said impatiently.

"Probably not." He said to the thug who thought the team was screwed over. He looked over in the direction the truck was coming from.

Sure, one of them could probably do something, but they weren't quite sure if the little pack of thugs beside them would interfere or not. He figured Rachel would have that covered though.

Con snapped out a quick message to Lumis Lumis, montior this com channel, we have possible incoming bomb."

He took to the air, accelerating rapidly skywards and towards the truck, issuing instuctions as he went.

"Gwion, ringfence those 8, gently. We might want to talk to them later. Nomic, I want people's minds on anything but triggering a bomb. Genbu, get moving. No action until they breach the park perimiter, I'll try and slow it down a little for you."

Assuming the truck did infact enter the park, Con would blast a trench infront of it in an attempt to stop it.

Finally. Put into the game!

A casual observer would be astonished as the bench suddenly started galloping towards the eight by the statue. It stretched out, quickly shifting from Park Bench to chain-link fence, with Will's head emerging at the top.

"Nice day for some sightseeing, in't it, gov?"

"Constantine this is Lumis. Neutralize the bomb but take no directly hostile actions against any humans until attacked or given clearance. Your top priority is zero casualties, whatever your plans for stopping the bomb, do not risk it exploding."

The truck appears to be heading directly for the park, the driver swings out a bit and then turns, cutting across both lanes of road. In a few moments he'll pop up on the curb, and then be headed directly for the Geneva Memorial in the center of the park.

Meanwhile, thugs are indeed surprised, and they back up in fear, but they pull weapons forth. Most of them are armed with an assortment of improvised weapons, short clubs, lead pipes, large pocket knives, and so forth.

One of the thugs shout. "Look, can we bash up this... this fence freak or what?"

The leader checks his cellphone. "Just hold on! Wait till it hits ya, and then you can smash it all ya want."

The thug shouts back. "Bullshit, he's surroudin' us!"

The leader retorts. "I ain't losin' 100 quid on your account, and neither are the rest of us." There's a rumble of assent from the other thugs. "Now take the first lick like a man, and then we can paste em!"

"Les just climb it!" A thug shouts.

"Yeah!" The thugs rush Will's fence-body, trying to climb the chain-links.

"Oy, watch it! That's assault, that is!" Will shifts from chain-link to a more solid construction, presumably causing anyone climbing him to...return to the ground.

The thugs drop off Will's fence, backing up as they try to figure out how they can get out of there without starting a fight any more than they already have.

The truck, meanwhile, pops up on the curb, and rolls forward. There's a brief groan of metal followed by a sharp popping sound as it plows over one of the thin metal fence-posts that provide a decorative border for the park. The fence itself is only waist height. That slowed the truck down quite a bit, and dented the bumper, but it still rolls forward onto the grass.

Con had been tracking the trucks motion and as it hit the post and entered the park, energy shot from his outstreched hand, blasting a dtich in front of it for it to roll into.

"Genbu, Shaman, move in." he called, scanning area for anyone that might either be caught in the blast, or coming to assist the bad guys.

Genbu moved for the back of the truck to grab and lift if the ditch didn't stop it, or stop any armed men that may exit.
