"Oh yeah. The doctors liked to talk. A lot. They were nice enough, but it gets old, especially when you're in the backseat and can't do anything about it."

[Veronica Glarette]

"I can only imagine. Honestly, sometimes all one needs is just to be listened to."

[Gemma Sloan]

"I must say it is nice to be listened to on occasion."

[Veronica Glarette]

"So tell me about yourself, Ignata. Where are you and Gemma from?"

[Gemma Sloan]

"Cardiff in Wales. Gemma grew up there with our parents and sister. When I showed up, they took us to a more remote location to keep us safe and sent Anika off to live with some relatives."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Cardiff, I haf heard many sings about eet's beauty. So...zey separated you two?"

[Gemma Sloan]

She nodded, "They had their hands full with the one who could turn into a dragon at a moment's notice."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Unpredictably?"

[Gemma Sloan]

"Yes. And I wasn't the most... restrained individual when I first came on the scene."

[Veronica Glarette]

She nods in understanding. "I would imagine not. You were in a new and confusing environment."

[Gemma Sloan]

"And when I demanded the floor, it came with the shift. It's taken us years to get get to this point."

[Veronica Glarette]

"You haf my congratulations for reaching as far as you haf, Ignata and Gemma. A remarkable accomplishment." She says seriously.

[Gemma Sloan]

"Thank you," she said, "And Gemma thanks you as well."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Off course." She finishes what's on her plate, then stands with a smile. "If you or Gemma ever feel like going to zee library, feel free to let me know and we can make eet a joint effort. Would be nice to haf company on my trips."

[Gemma Sloan]

"I'll definitely keep it in mind. It was nice meeting you, Veronica."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Eet was my pleasure." She gives a wave and heads out the door.
