XU Team Games: Food Fight

[Melissa Castro]

Melissa was slow to get up, the drop being a little bit more than she'd prepared herself for.

[Kevin Gravis]

Kevin leaped in through a window.

"And now me!" he grinned.

Then he screwed up his face at all the dummy flags.

"Crud that's a lot of flags..."

[Melissa Castro]

"Damn it, you people just keep coming," Melissa said, getting to one knee. Her skin started to shimmer again, but it was flickering fitfully and she winced. She managed to get to her feet, but quickly dropped back to one knee. "Okay, I'm out."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Kevin heard a low growl behind him as he stared at the flags. "Get out of here Gravis,"

[Kevin Gravis]

He spun around into a fighting stance, summoning a glowing baseball bat. And ball cap. Because, that's why.

"No can do wolfie."

[Melissa Castro]

Melissa steeled herself, getting up and leaving the cafeteria before things got any messier.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph shifted into her hybrid form and lunged at Kevin, looking to tackle him.

[Kevin Gravis]

Kevin, using his uncanny dodge perk, twirled out of the way and bopped Steph on the snout. The bat wasn't hot in the least. unlike his swords.

"Bad doggie."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"You're going to really get it now," she growled, skidding to a stop and lunging again. Even if she missed, he was dealing with her instead of trying to get to the flag.

[Kevin Gravis]

He avoided again, though she almost got him that time. He exchanged the bat for a large bone and tauntingly waggled the construct at her.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Keep it up, wise-ass," she growled playfully, feinting another tackle and instead sweeping at his legs.

[Kevin Gravis]

Kevin backflipped. "Too slow!"

"Aaaand catch!" he grinned, throwing the large lightforce bone at her.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph grabbed a nearby chair and swung it like a baseball bat, trying to send the bone flying back into his face.

[Kevin Gravis]

It worked! Well, almost. Kevin forced the construct to stop just in time to only ruffle his hair. He dismissed it and tried to blink out the temporary blindness caused by the light.

Crap crap crap!

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph seized the opportunity to once again try to pin Kevin.

[Kevin Gravis]

This time Kevin found himself pinned under a werewolf.

"Yanno... I'm suddenly very, very glad this is a training exercise."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Gotcha," she said menacingly. Steph let out a low growl, and got uncomfortably close to his face.

...and she promptly licked his cheek, then chuckled.

[Kevin Gravis]

Kevin made a face at being licked.

"Normally this is where I'd do something sneaky... but I don't want to hurt you or get accidentally clawed or something, sooo... I guess I'm out."

[Blaine Slinger]

Meanwhile, Blaine's machine ran out of silverware to throw, and thus, he was taken out. The defenses were definitely cracking....

"Sounds fair. Otherwise I was going to handcuff you," she gave him a wolffish grin and plucked off his bandana. "Consider us even for the dog jokes."

Steph let up her pin, shifted into wolf form and began prowling the cafeteria sneaking around the chairs and tables to see if she could spot anyone making a move for the flags.

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex, being probably as inconspicuous as a monster truck in Mini Cooper lot, would most likley be easy to spot as he clumsily crawled toward the bed of flags.

[Hannah Murphy]

And a recovered Murphy attempted to tackle Steph.

Steph was about to pounce on Alex from behind a table when she was blindsided by Murph. She shifted immediately back to her hybrid form to regain some strength and grappling ability and grinned at Murphy. "Don't bite. Don't want to be a double werewolf,"

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy wags her tail. She barks loudly at Steph.

Then she charges again.

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex continued his clumsy crawl, still psi-punch-drunk. He looked around, trying to figure out where Kay was in all this mess.

[Kay Haddock]

Kay was trying to stay out of sight after having calmed down a bit and is currently in the process of gathering up flags, hoping to get an actual one among them.

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex watched her, meeting her eyes if he could. He reached out, touching the heavy metal base of one of the tables. This isn't going to be graceful, he thought as he started siphoning the metal out of it, then reaching for the next table.

[Kay Haddock]

Kay nods at him as she snatches up the last flag she can see.

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex drains in the metal, then grabs a third, draining the metal as he picked himself up. He charged at a wall, running away from other Red teamers so they couldn't see that he didn't have a flag, then leaped through a window like he was making for the gym. Of course, he was still super clumsy, so he smashed himself into the wall next to the window, doing some pretty fancy property damage to the frame as he went.

And while Alex is hopefully distracting everybody by smashing himself into walls Kay sneaks over to the doors that leads to the rest of the mansion to hook around through the mansion with her arm full of flags.

Steph looked up from her grapple with Murphy to see two people potentially escaping with flags. "Get Kay and Alex! They might have the flag!" she called out to her few remaining teammates.
