The limo glided to a stop outside the restaurant and once again, the chauffeur held the door for them.

Stepping out, the group would find themselves looking at a fairly imposing building.

Simon pulled himself out of the limo, offering to help the ladies as they stepped out as well.

"Well, this looks like a pretty nice place" he smiled. "Do they have chicken-fried bacon with ranch?"

"I think it happens to all of us. When I shifted voluntarily for the first time, I was a galah for a week. Then another time, I was stuck human for a month. Which was the most completely awful month of my entire life."

Simon chuckled softly at the worst shifting experiences talk. He was pretty lucky not to have those sort of problems... though technically he kind of had them all the time.

"I'm sure it made sense; somehow." she teasingly pat Will's shoulder, giggling.

A little while later they were seated at a cozy round table, on a level below the 'rabble' as Will had put it. A server brought champagne at Jess' request, pouring it as they perused their menus.

"A toast." Jess said, taking Nina's free hand in her own as she raised her glass. "To unexpected meetings and new-found friends."
