"Now, Charlie, you'd best be goin' home." the bouncer said kindly "Want me to call you a cab?"

"No kind sir, I will be fine." Charlie replied with drunken aplomb as he started down the street.

As Charlie went further down the street, two vampires dropped down from one of the roofs into an alley and started following him.

"Hey boys, nice night for a walk." Charlie said casually, turning to face the two vamps, slipping a seed packet out of his pocket as she spoke.

"Yes, it is." Cain replied, swiftly pulling a tazer and firing it at Charlie.

Charlie started to use the seeds to generate his plant armor, but wasn't full armored up when the tazer hit him. He fell to the ground, twitching.

Cain quickly fastened an inhibitor collar around Charlie's neck and hefted him over his shoulder.

"I didn't expect him to be this easy." Simon remarked, as he opened the back of the van.

"Neither did I." Cain said, laying Charlie down in the back and roughly duct taping his hands, feet and mouth "We got lucky."

"That we did. Now we better hurry back, Magdalena will need to feed deeply after the amount of blood she's supposed to give Bowen."
