"Shhh, shhh, shhh," Mira said, sitting down on a bed, and guiding Winn down next to her. "It's OK. I just wanted to make sure you were giving it your effort."

The pieces of the cup hovered in front of them, slowly rotating. "This is a hard one, because all the pieces are so irregular. But can you see the edges? It's like a jigsaw puzzle, in four dimensions."

Winn takes a deep breath and relaxes. She stares at the rotating cup and focuses intently. Her eyes pulse yellow as the soft music picks up again.

Winn closed her eyes and focused on the sound. Quietly, hidden in the complex movements and interlocking symphonies, there was a single note that was a little off. She just had to tweak it a little bit....

Energy crackled around Winn's hands as she gestured towards the cup. Shakily, it began to pull itself back together.

A mental flash of glowing eyes and a faceless being of light surprised Winn. Startled by the image, she curses as she loses focus and the cup falls apart again.

"What the fuck?" Winn says. "Okay. Who is that, huh?"

Why would you do that Winn? What did that wall ever do to you? It was a nice wall with a family that loved it.

Winn glares angrily at the broken cup and concentrates on it again.

Fuck off.

Kirby dots flow around her with a loud crackling noise before swirling around the cup.

Come on....

And in a flash of light, the cup is whole again.

"H-holy fuck," Winn says, panting hard. "That's -- that feels amazing."
