Vivienne was actually crying and as Nailah landed the wall, Vivienne's armor and water from Roland's shirt fell back into the earth. "It is...not...his..." She sobbed still on her knees.

Then to Victoria. "The magic of my mother's blades is like...a hunting dog. It will obey the correct commands and the "right" type of master, but starve it long enough it will heel to anyone for a meal."
