Sept. 3rd: Breakfast! The Breakfast of Breakfast!

[Kay Haddock]

"Oh wow! That's cool."

[Veronica Glarette]

She smiles brightly. "Zat is amazing, Murphy."

[Jean-Louise Murphy]

"Thanks! But I'll bet you guys have even cooler powers, like lightning vision or turning into fire or mind control!" Murphy says. She tries to pull her arm out of the table, but it won't budge.

"Oops."

[Kay Haddock]

"Well I have gills and stuff, so what you see is what you get. Uhm... that can't be good." she adds when Murphy's arm gets stuck.

[Veronica Glarette]

"Oh dear...um..." She looks a bit worried. "Is zere anysing we can do to help?"

[Jean-Louise Murphy]

"Don't worry. This happens all the time. I got stuck inside a wall for an hour once. That was pretty awful," Murphy says, struggling to pull her arm free. She braces one foot against the table and pushes hard. Unfortunately, her entire body decides to phase instead of just her arm and she falls forward, through the table, and hits the floor.

"I'm okay," Murphy's voice comes from underneath.

[Veronica Glarette]

She stands and moves immediately to kneel by the side of the table, offering to help Murphy out. "You sure?" She looks concerned.

[Kay Haddock]

Kay leans her head down to look under the table, looking relieved when Murphy seems okay.

"Want me to hand you your breakfast down there?" she chuckles.

[Jean-Louise Murphy]

Murphy lets Veronica drag her out from under the table. "Didn't break a single bone. I'm fine. Don't worry about me. I'm, like, invincible."

[Alex Carpenter]

"Welp, power control's going to be interesting this year," Alex commented idly, picking up his fork again.

[Veronica Glarette]

She chuckles and takes a seat again to finish her breakfast. "Invincible, zat is quite zee trait."

[Jean-Louise Murphy]

Murphy beams, happy to be praised and too naive to find it condescending.
