Sept 24 - in a quiet corner of the grounds

[Connor Marshall]

"Marvelous job planning this, love," Connor said as they made their way acoss the lawn. "But candlelight after dark? Best touch yet."

[Morgan Evans]

"Well, once when I was little I saw a bit of an old movie where they did it. I always remembered, you know?" Another little scrap of a perfect life harboured and held dear to keep her afloat through out the years.

[Connor Marshall]

Connor smiled as he set the basket down (Morgan hadn't exactly insisted that they buy an actual picnic basket, but he could tell that it would make her happy, so he'd done it anyway), leaning over and giving her a little kiss. "Any other little ideas you've been waiting to fulfill?" he asked.

[Morgan Evans]

There were hundreds which Morgan kept to herself with a blush.

"There's not too many I don't have in my grasp now." She spread out the red and white check tablecloth she had bought especially.

Connor lit the candles, placing them into tiny floating forcefields. "Wish I knew what that was like," he commented wistfully. "I never really thought much past 'here' and 'now,' myself. Didn't seem much point. Now I wish I had."

[Morgan Evans]

"No time like the present Mr Marshall." Morgan had many aspirations that others would think small but they were happy, she reached a hand out too Connor.

"If you look to the future now what do you see?"

[Connor Marshall]

Connor took her hand and pulled her close, smiling as he did. "I see us. Living in some quiet little flat or other, lots of silly knicknacks all over the place..." He got a wicked grin on his face. "I see you in the kitchen, singing while you cook dinner," he teased, winking at her. "But mostly... I see us. Happy. That's all I really want."

"Cooking? Hmm, I think I would like that." Morgan slipped into Connor's embrace and lent her head against his chest. She stood in silence for a moment before murmuring quietly.

"It has been an interesting day.."

[Connor Marshall]

He sighed. "Tell me about it. And I bloody missed all of it."

[Morgan Evans]

"Connor you work too hard." Morgan's voice was quietly chiding and she pulled him down to sit on the picnic rug.

"Have you even made any friends?"

[Connor Marshall]

He hesitated. "Haven't thought about it," he said. "Too much other shite to worry about."

[Morgan Evans]

"You want us to have some kind of happy future you need to make sure you are happy, Connor. You need to make friends."

[Connor Marshall]

"I..." He sighed. "I just don't trust anyone. Not yet, at least."

[Morgan Evans]

"You remember my friend Teri? Well she was fighting with that girl with the rainbow hair.. the obnoxious one, yeah?" Morgan quickly filled Connor in on what she saw in the quad.

"So I went to see Lumis. I mean I want to trust Teri but they are all saying it.."

[Connor Marshall]

Connor was quiet for a moment, then hugged her tighter. "Are you going to go see her?"

[Morgan Evans]

"They say there is proof she raped Ayami. I can't condone rape, messing with someone's head yes, rape no. It's really that black and white to me." Morgan lent back into his arms pressing herself into the feel of him.

"I might kill her."

[Connor Marshall]

Connor's thoughts on the subject were quite as plain as Morgan's were, and he knew that she knew that. "Want a hand doing it?" he asked simply. Feeling awkward, not knowing what to do from there, but not wanting to break contact with her, Connor drew her down to the blanket with him so that she was sitting against him.

[Morgan Evans]

"Hmm I haven't really decided yet how I am going too. It bears thinking on I suppose." Morgan mused quietly her thumb absently strooking across his thigh.

[Connor Marshall]

"Well, no rush, love. And tonight's supposed to be a time for more pleasant things. No need to worry about things like that right now," he said, idly stroking her hair as she leaned against him.

[Morgan Evans]

"Connor.. I saw something today. It was a little strange.." Her voice faltered out and she closed her eyes tightly.

Connor blinked. "You... saw that? Where!?" What on earth were the people at this school doing in their off time?

Morgan blushed red and was glad Connor couldn't see her face. I knew he would think it was strange! HE totally thinks I am a freak now!

"In the rec centre.. he tied them to the horse thingy.."

And Connor couldn't help but picture the scene... then inserting himself into it, with Morgan replacing the girls...

He shook his head. "Bloody hell, I work there, but you're the one who sees that?" he chuckled. "But... they were all right? They didn't mind?"

"They really seemed to like it. When I talked to them about it afterwards they were btoh so.. they just liked it."

[Connor Marshall]

Connor narrowed his eyes in amusement as he opened the basket to see what Morgan had made for them to eat. "They were both so- what?" he asked, smiling slightly.

[Morgan Evans]

"One of them offered to teach me. I think thats what she meant.." Morgan blushed red.

[Connor Marshall]

Connor blinked, unsure how to think about that. "Did you tell her that I don't share?" he asked, his voice slightly teasing.

[Morgan Evans]

"I didn't say anything I don't think." Morgan blushed redder still. "You wouldn't would you?"

[Connor Marshall]

"Nope. Sorry, love, but you're mine. And I don't think you'd want me to, either."

[Morgan Evans]

"Being yours is something that I can deal with. Happily so." Morgan said chuffed. She slipped out of Connor's arm and started to unpack the picnic basket.

"You want to spank me?"

[Connor Marshall]

Connor, who had been relaxing, sat up with a little start. He looked at Morgan, or rather the back of her head, blinking. Then a slow smile spread over his face. "Why?" he asked slyly. "Are you going to be... naughty, love?"

"Maybe I have been already and you just don't know?" Morgan said with a smile.

[Connor Marshall]

"Hmmmm... then I suppose you might need some preemptive spanking just to be sure?" Connor teased.

"So the idea of me over your knee, panties around my ankles being spanked is appealing to you?" Morgan kept unpacking the basket, taking her time and not looking at Connor. She had the voices of Rachel and Victoria on a loop in her head.

"Mmmmm, might be," Connor said carefully. "Granted, that would depend on if you like the idea."

Biting the bullet Morgan decided to just put her cards on the table.

"I like it when you take control, the way you look after me and treat me like I'm yours. I think it might be something that I enjoy only with you but enough that I can't stop thinking about it when you aren't around."

Connor gave a little shiver that had nothing to do with the cold as she said this. "If that's what you like... I can definitely do it more for you," he said, his voice a little lower. "Just..." he hesitated. "I'm still as lost as you are, here," he said, chuckling slightly. "So... just remember that if you don't like something, I'll stop, aye?"

"I promise that I will tell you but I really don't think you should worry about it Connor, you have been in charge for years, this will just be a little more official." Morgan slipped into Connor's lap and wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her lips to his.
