Wallace finished watching the protesters outside. He put out his smoke and walked back to his dorm room. His roommate was set to arrive this afternoon. Wallace made himself lunch, sat down and turned on the news. The protester story was already on the air.

"This should do just fine," Zack thought aloud as he entered the dorm room. He only stopped by to drop off his things. If his roomie was there however, he'd stay around to speak to him. If not, he went straight for the cafeteria afterward, starving from the long flight.

(Sept 24 around 8 pm)

Kelly had finsihed with the questioning about the fight in the shower room and had returned to his room before arriving at Zach's place. He had wanted Zach to see if any of his items could help shine light on his mother and why she loved his real father. He had a small bad in his left hand that was filled with random items that had belonged to his mother like an old wooden brush that was hand crafted, some jewlry that was given to her by St Luc father, random trinkets, and a hard back covered book that was titled The Life and Crimes of Trinidad Davis. Kelly did not know where else to turn for information and now that the door was open Kelly wanted to know more...even if it was painful. He sighed hoping that Zach would help him and not get wierd vibe from him. He tapped on the door and waited for Zach.

"I, uh, yeah. Zach can I ask more favors of you?" Kelly looked at Zach's face but avoided his eyes. "I wanted to know more. I need to know more..."

He sighed. He didn't want to get Kelly into some crazy emotional state again. He wanted to decline but he couldn't deny information that was important to his friend.

"Sure, if that's what you wish." He stepped off to the side to let Kelly enter.

I know this wont end well but there something me calling to the past, you know? I have a bag of some things I gathered that was hers. I kept everything that my grandmother and father gave me of hers.">

Kelly made himself at home and opened his bag to release the items he brought on Zach's bed. <"I brought some things that I thougth were meaningful and got on short notice."> He turned to Zach and his face looked like he was desperate for answers.

Zach wasted no time getting to work. He picked up an item and his eyes lost their color, quickly reading through the memories trapped away in the item. "So, how are you feeling anyway..? Are you sure you're okay about the news?"

"I wont be okay about the news but I have to know. I mean it's like a puzzle that I can't solve...and I need you Zach. I need you to help me find answers." Kelly truly wanted to know about his family history now. At first it would have been fun to just know about his mother but now there was so many questions.

The item Zach is holding currently was the book. Actually replaying the history was draining, but to try and get information further than a year back was worse. Two decades ago at the least. Not to mention, the feedback was always choppy. The book revealed some interesting information actually..probably more than he would of expected.

"Your real father was here in London some time ago. I really can't..peg the time just yet. He gave this to your mother." He set the book down and sighed, already feeling a little winded. There were other things he could mention but he'd get the information first then tell Kelly after. He went for the brush next.

"No. It's not killing me. Exhausting me would be a better way to put it. Not so much the action..but trying to focus on the images before they just fade away. Don't worry..I'll try this one for awhile too. Not to mention, there's always tomorrow or later. I can find out more stuff about it.." He reached out to take the brush and waited to see what memories it would reveal.

Kelly handed him the brush although he regretted putting Zach in this postion. "I'm sorry Zach. I shouldn't be so selfish about this..."

"If I didn't want to do it, then I'd tell you so." He cut off his reading of the object early since it didn't seem to reveal anything really important. He was actually starting to sweat and he sat down on his bed, breathing deeply.

Kelly quickly sat down next to Zach, "Zach! I'm sorry. Are you alright? You looked worn out...Do you need some water? Or something?" He was oddly close to Zach again. Kelly didn't touch him though and his eyes were sad as he looked at what he felt he had caused.

"Just give me a second. Things are fine.." Zach said but probably looked far from it. Either way, he was telling the truth. He wasn't in some sort of danger..yet. His eyes were still white and seemed to stare blankly ahead of him.

"You don't look fine. Please let me help you. What can I do?" He leaned over closer to Zach and placed a hand over Zach's eyes as if maybe he could give them a rest. He didn't know what to do exactly to help Zach feel better or have his powers deactivate. "I'm afraid to touch you. Will I cause harm if I do?"

"Don't panic. You'll just start freaking me out." He leaned back when the hand was in front of his eyes and he just batted it away in a playful manner while chuckling softly.

"Only when I use my powers too much. I normally can read memories a lot if they're only a year back. Decades..I'm surprised I can do. Well, not that surprised but I don't think I've gotten read back that far ago. It's intriguing." He said with a nod and turned his head to face Kelly's. A smile plastered on his face. "May not look pretty, but it means my power's getting stronger."

"The things you say are amusing sometimes. Quite often honestly. Just a lot different.." He said in a softer tone of voice. The hand on his thigh didn't seem to bother him.

"Oh? Well my fath...Mr St Luc always said I that I would say funny things. I was like my mother when it came to that. And my friends will say that same I guess." Kelly's hand lightly rubbed Zach's thigh, "I hope you are feeling better my friend."

"They were right. It's kind of refreshing.." He placed his hand on top of Kelly's for a moment, giving it a quick pat as he turned his head around to peer down at the other items.

Kelly took the pat as if he shouldn't be rubbing his thigh. He grabbed Zach's wrist gently before he could even think about reaching for the other items to use his powers then with his other hand lightly placed it on Zach's chin to turn his face towards his own, "We're done with those things for the night. I got enough infomation for now."

That little stunt left Zach surprised. He stared into Kelly's eyes briefly then pulled away. "Fine. I'll refrain from using them." His tone didn't appear to be angry, just matter-o-factly. "Do you really want to go down this path Kelly? Having to find out everything?"

Kelly's voice was soft as he spoke, "The door is open. I want to see where this goes." He brushed some of Zach's hair behind his ear. "I understand if this is something you don't want to do. Yet, I feel like this path is a must with you." Kelly wasn't sure if he was talking about his daddy issue or Zach.

Felt something..? He thought hard on that but strung the evidence together. Oh. Ooooohhhh. He jumped back away from Kelly. He considered how to reply. He couldn't remember the last time he really liked a person. He fell silent as he weighed the evidence in his mind.

"If you're wondering if I like you, that way then I do...some." He said truthfully.

"Oh for goodness sake.." He stood up and grabbed Kelly's hand. "Look Kelly. I'm not sure exactly where this process of thought started. I mean we've been hanging out for awhile and then the shower thing you've been acting strangely."

"I haven't been in a relationship for years. Hell, part of that is because I'm just never really into people that much. Too much on my mind. Cases..things to do. It's sometimes feels like a anomaly to have those feelings at all sometimes." He tried to explain this the best he could. "I know it's probably not what you wanted to hear but me liking you that way at all..means a lot for me."

He said though in the back of his head this whole situation was so improbable. He just said it. "I'm willing to see if things get any stronger. If things really turn great..I mean, I wasn't expecting this. It's still a tad strange. All this time passes and then, suddenly I have these feelings for a male. It's a little hard to grasp though I apologize I'm not so adamant about it as you are. I am still confused."

"And I'm not?! I even looked at Marcus today! I feel nothing for anyone...but you. You there is something that draws me to you!" Kelly didn't mean to but he raised his voice.

He cleared his throat and calmed down a bit, "Well atleast you feel something...Better then me being crazy. One thing you can't calculate or formulate a hypothesis for is feelings, Zach."

"Yes. I know that all too well. It has always been frustrating to deal with." He let go of Kelly's hand and sat back down. No matter how he looked at it, this was incredibly weird. Not so much the male thing but just that he even got these feelings again. He thought he pretty much distanced himself from stuff like that.
