I13DT: Round Two, Fight

[Sara Stanton]

"I can leave the room if that helps. In fact I probably should..." she says, half-turning around.

[Samantha McManus]

"This isn't about me, or my personal life."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Alright, alright. I get the picture.

I guess...I guess we're done here, for now, then. I wish I knew what I could do to convince you, but I suppose I'll figure it out. I am the Phoenix, after all," she frowned.

[Sara Stanton]

"I wish I could tell you. If it helps, you managed to earn some respect in my eyes by admitting I at least have a point, even if we disagree on the specific wording."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"If there's nothing more?" she said, looking at both of them in turn.

[Samantha McManus]

"I've nothing more about this."

[Sara Stanton]

"I guess that it. Thanks Mira."

[Altamira Vazquez]

Mira simply nodded. "Good luck to both of you--Sara, Morrigan," she said.

And then she vanished, in a burst of flame.

[Samantha McManus]

"Dramatic."

[Sara Stanton]

"That went... well, right? I mean you know her better than I do..."

[Samantha McManus]

"...better than it might have."

[Sara Stanton]

"I guess I just don't really understand her. Hell I barely understand Will sometimes. Maybe I'm just afraid she knows something I don't want to be true..."

[Samantha McManus]

"I'm sorry if I stepped on toes. Will came to me about this."

[Sara Stanton]

"No, it's fine. He was probably worried I'd say or do something rash."

[Samantha McManus]

"He anticipated the punching. So much punching."

[Sara Stanton]

"Well you saw how she gets." Sara mumbles. She doesn't feel particularly great about her temper right now.

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye. Didn't say I was faulting you."

[Sara Stanton]

"Well, thanks for coming out here. I know you're very busy."

[Samantha McManus]

"No rest for the wicked," she sighs.

"And no matter what Altamira has said, I don't ask for special treatment. I'm just the headmistress here."

[Sara Stanton]

"Don't worry, Professor, I'll never treat you like some kind of deity, whether you ask for it or not."

[Samantha McManus]

"If either of you do need me, don't ever hesitate. I know Will has been... reluctant."

[Sara Stanton]

"I'll let him know you continue to not ask people to fall to their knees before you." she smiles slightly.

[Samantha McManus]

"I feel bad that it's never quite been as it was. I'd still like to mend fences, aye?"

[Sara Stanton]

"I understand." she nods.
