I13DT - D-d-d-Danger, watch behind you

[Narrator]

Her eyes widen at something.

"Okay okay I give up!"

[Mizuki Hino]

"Good, Cause there's this thing back there I gotta take care of." she says, standing up.

[Narrator]

"Big and white with eight legs?" Pinkie asks, getting up and preparing to run.

[Mizuki Hino]

"I dunno, I only saw ey--" she stops herself and slowly turns around.

[Narrator]

The creature was as described. Eight malevolent red eyes on a buffalo-sized arachnid clad in bony plates, barreling straight at them. Needless to say, the mohawked punk ran away very quickly.

[Mizuki Hino]

"Oh god, that thing's huge!" Mizuki screams, looking around for that car she'd thrown around earlier.

[Narrator]

The brave steed hasn't run away. It has a rather impressive dent in it though.

[Mizuki Hino]

Mizuki runs over to the wreck, hoping to get there before the spider gets to her.

[Narrator]

Thankfully the creature is too bulky to overtake her. However it does spit sharp bone shards after her.

[Mizuki Hino]

She tries to zig-zag, barely making a last-minute slide behind the car before the spikes impact into the metal. Lifting up the battered remains of the car over her head she looks at the spider.

"Pretend I said something really cool!" she says before slamming the car down onto the creature.

[Narrator]

The spider shrieks and makes a truly horrific wet bone-crunching sound as the car crushes it. Despite this predicament, it continues to drag itself after her as it oozes reeking fluids.

[Mizuki Hino]

"Eww! Eww! Eww eww eww!" she says, bashing the car down on the thing over and over.

[Narrator]

Undead spider bits go everywhere, splattering Mizuki with a nice coating of goo.

"Mission successful," the computer reports. Luckily the horrible gooey bits vanish with along with everything else as the simulation ends.

[Mizuki Hino]

"Eww." she repeats, much more calmly and clearly more of a complaint directed at John now. "That was disgusting."

[John Hino]

"Yeah... I thought the goo might be a bit much," John admitted over the intercom.

[Mizuki Hino]

"So. I beat your icky spider to a pulp. Good enough for you?" she asks, fists on her hips.

[John Hino]

He walked in.

"You've proven to me that you're taking this seriously... so... as far as I'm concerned... you can come..." he said, with obvious difficulty.

[Mizuki Hino]

"Thank you." she says, realizing how hard that must have been for John.

[John Hino]

"You have every bit as much to lose as I do, so it's only fair I give you a chance to help. But! Keep training. The better you can defend yourself the better I'll feel."
