Though Samantha's shields are quite good, a potent psychic might be able to tell she isn't being forthright. It might be more accurate that it feels right to encourage some things, which isn't something she seems comfortable knowing. There's a brief flash across her surface thoughts of rowdy chanting in an alleyway, and fists striking flesh.
