Nailah nods and offers an encouraging smile to the class. Not that she's particularly good at that. She then goes back to where they had been before they were interrupted, launching into yet another boring lecture. At least for a little while. After 15 minutes or so, in the middle of writing on the blackboard her body language suddenly changes, her shoulders and wings go slack and she seems to have forgotten what she was writing before, rapidly scribbling down something else as she mumbles to herself. If the other telepaths in the room specifically look for it they might see what Miranda can't help but look at. Everything around Nailah seems to shatter into a kaleidoscopic fracture that's swirling in an endless sea of images but before the mind can grasp one scene it's already replaced by a dozen others.
The effect seems to last forever, but it can only have been a minute at most when it suddenly stops. The last word Nailah wrote on the blackboard trails off into a scribble and she's resting against the board with one arm, her wings hanging down limply.
Blackboard wrote:These days which we have known in dust
Will blow away with this black gust
So tame my flesh and fix my eyes
A tethered mind freed from the lies
Know what you've seen in shadows bound
Till all their secrets have been found
