[ASHLIE]

"Husband of Sara Stanton, maiden name Evans. Understood." she nods.

[Will Stanton]

"And I am NOT to be stored next to the popsicles. I mean, that's just rude."

[Natalya Romanov]

Natalya smirked, "ASHLIE, we suspect the virus infection may be nano-tech related, in case that helps."

[ASHLIE]

"I lack the means to detect nano-machinery. Much less proof the crystal caverns against them. And I'm sorry. I mistook you for a known mutant terrorist Mister---" She lets out an electronic screeching noise.

the monitor next to the cell shows as Ashlie blankly stares at Will.

"Please identify yourself."

[Will Stanton]

"I'm Will, remember? Literally, 30 seconds ago?"

[ASHLIE]

"Information regarding recent events appears to be partially deleted." she says, beginning to sound insecure and almost nervous. For a machine anyway.

[Will Stanton]

"Think back--what were we just talking about?"

[ASHLIE]

"The nanites affecting my memory banks."

[Will Stanton]

"And then Natalya introduced me as...?"

[ASHLIE]

Ashlie just stares at Will for a bit.

"She did not introduce you. Why are you in a holding cell? Why is Miss Romanov in the holding cell with you?"

[Natalya Romanov]

"Looks like the little bastards are smarter than I gave them credit for," Natalya said with a sigh. "ASHLIE, who he is is unimportant. All you need to know is that he's under my supervision and not to be apprehended again."

[ASHLIE]

"Understood. I will address him with a randomized designation."

[Will Stanton]

"Clearly this will take some more thought -- it's not as easy as slapping a new word on top of things and calling it a day," Will frowned. "Stupid computers.

...no offense."

[Natalya Romanov]

"My earlier suggestion still stands. If you want me to make the arrangements, I will."

[ASHLIE]

"I am more than a simple computer." she says cheerfully as way of explaining that she couldn't possibly be offended by that. "Compared to me most computers are quite stupid."

[Will Stanton]

Will nodded.

"Let's set something up," he said to Nate. "Let's see what we've got."

[Natalya Romanov]

"It'll take some time to make the connection. In the mean time, why don't you pick 2 or 3 people to take with you?"

[Will Stanton]

Will nods. "You think that's enough? I mean, you're the expert on this kind of...thing."

[Natalya Romanov]

"Well, it's just a first wave. We'll be sending more people, but this is a quick-ish way to get you out of the country."

[Will Stanton]

"Think they'll let me back in?" Will smirked, though with a bit of the lack of usual bravado.

[Natalya Romanov]

"Once we squash Black Air, we should be able to prove that they're behind all this nonsense."

[Will Stanton]

Will nodded. "All the more reason to, uh, succeed when I'm down there, right? 'Work it out, or don't come back'."

[Natalya Romanov]

"I wouldn't go that far. Just more complicated if *we* don't succeed."

[Will Stanton]

"Right, right..." Will said, lost in thought.

"...I'll have to see those specs again."

[Natalya Romanov]

"I can get them to you."

[Will Stanton]

"Small team. In and out. Right.

...I'm scared out of my everlovin' mind, just, you know. Eff Why Eye."

[Natalya Romanov]

"We'll be sending a bigger team behind you, so give some thought to that. It's just important that we get you out of harm's way, so to speak, as soon as possible."

[Will Stanton]

"Wait, then what the hell am I doing down there?"

[Natalya Romanov]

"Avoiding the legitimate government agencies that would deport your ass to somewhere we'd actually lose track of you."

[Will Stanton]

"Running, in other words," Will frowned.

[Natalya Romanov]

Natalya shrugged and opened the holding cell door, leaving it open as she walked out. "If you want to label it that, then that's your problem. You know what your other options are. Neither of them are good. Make your decision and go with it. " She paused at the doorway to the holding cell area. "Ashlie, would you please return the ice cream freezer to the cafeteria?"

"Of course. I apologize for the inconvenience."
