I12DT: Happy Food Day, Have a Lunch Thread

[Cecil Langdon]

Cecil was knocked back a bit, but took a step back and regained his footing. He then refocused on Emily.

What the hell do I do now?

[ASHLIE]

Ashlie slams him into one of the tables, then the counter as she hurries towards the freezer.

[Emily Inque]

Emily draws her body into a more condensed form and then a pillar of black goo blasts from her arm towards Cecil.

"People aiding enemies of the facility are to be punished," Emily says, a wild smile on her face.

[Will Stanton]

Will tried shrinking down to slip through ASHLIE'S grip. There were a number of other strategies here, but, dang it, he hadn't had time to look up the specs, and he wasn't trying to destroy the dang thing! Stupid robots.

[ASHLIE]

That's when she engaged the expanding riot foam again to immobilize the shrinking Will.

[Cecil Langdon]

"Shit." Cecil pushed off to the side and broke into a run attempting to dodge the black pillar coming towards him.

She's completely nuts

[Will Stanton]

"MMMF!" Will cried, having thought ASHLIE had expended her supply of expanding foam, and being effectively stuck to ASHLIE'S arm.

[Emily Inque]

The goo hit the wall and splattered briefly before returning to the form of Emily. Her arm twists into the shape of a cat o' nine tails.

"Stop running and surrender," Emily says.

[Cecil Langdon]

What is going to stop her, I don't think punches or kicks will work.

Right now his only plan seemed to be to keep on avoiding her.

[ASHLIE]

She opens the freezer and holds her arm into it. Then, with a hiss and mechanical whir her arm suddenly detaches at the elbow and drops into the freezer along with Will.

"Intruder detained. Everyone please stand back. Miss Romanov and the Head-Mistress have been informed."

[Emily Inque]

Emily attempts to whip an arm tendril around Cecil's neck.

[Cecil Langdon]

Cecil manages to drop down and fall and roll under the tendril. That did slow him down a bit. He then heads for an exit to the outside.

[ASHLIE]

"Please cease your fighting. The situation is under control."

[Brigid Plunder]

"I can't believe you're doing this!" Brigid said, confused and just a bit frightened.

[Emily Inque]

"He is working with the intruder," Emily explains, "He attempted to contact co-conspirators."

[ASHLIE]

"I do not remember a Will Stanton. There is no mention of him in any of our databanks. His description does fit known mutant terrorist Legion."

She pauses for a moment as she processes the situation. "I'm sorry if I startled you. The threat has been neutralized." she smiles.

"Mister Langdon merely attempted to contact security. A wise decision considering the circumstances."

[Emily Inque]

"...Are you certain? Perhaps we should interrogate him for more information."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Nobody's interrogating anybody!"

[ASHLIE]

"I'm taking him to the holding cells. The rest is up to Miss Romanov and Miss McManus. Don't worry, he will be treated fairly."

[Emily Inque]

Emily returns to a normal form. "You are not going to punish Ms. Brigid either? Her interjections are quite unbecoming of someone of her station."

[ASHLIE]

"No one is being punished. You are too eager to inflict harm. That is wrong."

[Cecil Langdon]

Cecil stopped when Ashlie first spoke up, but didn't visibly relax until Emily returned to normal.

He then walked over to Brigid. "This is just crazy, but Ms. Romanov and Ms. McManus should be able to sort it out now."

I hope.

[Emily Inque]

Emily looked incredibly hurt by what Ashlie said. She looked down at the ground and mumbled, "Yes, ma'am. I apologize, ma'am."
