Moving In: Mariuset, Regan and Kay's Room I12DT

[Mariuset]

Mariuset was reaching something out of her trunk, humming to herself.

[Regan Rourke]

"Oh, look," Regan says from the doorway, "A new friend."

[Mariuset]

Mariuset looked up "Greetings." she said, standing up and looking at the newcomer, one of her room-mates, she assumed "I am Mariuset. I recently arrived, it is pleasant to meet you. Are you Regan or Kay?"

[Kay Haddock]

"She's Regan. I'm Kay." Kay says, stepping into the room, squeezing past Regan.

[Mariuset]

Mariuset smiled broadly when she saw Kay "Greetings. I am so pleased to meet someone else from beneath the surface. What part of the ocean are you from?"

[Regan Rourke]

Regan snorts.

[Kay Haddock]

"Uhm... what?" she blinks.

[Regan Rourke]

"I think the new girl is making fun of you, Kay," Regan says, "Not very nice."

[Mariuset]

Mariuset looked at Regan, then back at Kay, very confused "I did not mean to cause offense, I assumed that you are from beneath the surface, as you something of the look of an Atlanean girl."

[Kay Haddock]

"Well I'm not, okay?" she frowns. "I'm from Michigan."

[Mariuset]

"I am very sorry if I caused offense." Mariuset said "That was not at all my intention. Michigan is in America, I believe. Did it take you long to swim here?"

[Kay Haddock]

"I didn't swim here!"

[Mariuset]

"....Oh" Mariuset replied, taken aback "How did you travel here, then?"

[Kay Haddock]

"In the jet, with everybody else."

[Mariuset]

"Of course, I should have realized." Mariuset replied, sounding apologetic "You must be very brave. I couldn't imagine doing something so dangerous."

[Kay Haddock]

"Like... flying on a plane?"

[Mariuset]

"Yes." Mariuset replied "What if something happened to the plane!?! It'd be terrifying, unless you can fly on your own, of course."

[Kay Haddock]

"They don't really crash all that often. It's pretty safe..." she says, giving Regan a look of 'What's up with her?'

[Regan Rourke]

"She's probably another dumb country girl," Regan says with a shrug.

[Mariuset]

"I'm very sorry if I seem ignorant to you." Mariuset said, looking like she wanted to sink through the floor "I'm not at all accustomed to life on the surface."

[Kay Haddock]

"Wait, what? You're from the ocean? Like Zeryn? You don't look like him, like, at all."

[Mariuset]

"I am from Lemuria." Mariuset explained "Zeryn is from Atlantis."

[Kay Haddock]

"What's Lemuria?"

[Regan Rourke]

"Question," Regan asks, "If I play a flute, will you dance for me?"

[Mariuset]

"Lemuria is one of the two realms below the surface." Mariuset elaborated for Kay "I am sorry, but I do not understand your question." she said to Regan.

[Regan Rourke]

Regan laughs, "You are so cute."

"I could just eat you up," Regan says, her smile showing sharpened and demonic teeth.

[Kay Haddock]

Kay rolls her eyes slightly. Regan had been extraordinarily pissy these last couple days.

"Don't mind her. She's alright once you get to know her. And as long as you don't mind part of the room looking like the side of a van."

[Mariuset]

'I'm sure that it will be quite all right." Mariuset said to Kay "I'm certain that we shall grow to be the best of friends."

[Regan Rourke]

"We'll be like a second family," Regan says.

"Of course, I hope my family dies in a car fire."

[Kay Haddock]

"Who doesn't, right?" Kay chuckles slightly.

[Mariuset]

"...I love my family." Mariuset said, looking rather shocked.

[Regan Rourke]

"Too bad for you," Regan says, "Hating them is much easier."

[Kay Haddock]

"Sorry. Mine are just kinda bad about the whole mutant thing and... well I don't actually want them dead or anything." Kay mumbles.

[Regan Rourke]

"Are you sure?" Regan asks, "Because if you ever change your mind, I'd be happy to help."

[Kay Haddock]

"Oh ha ha, Regan."

[Mariuset]

"I'm sorry that your parents don't accept you being a mutant." Mariuset replied "I must admit that mutants face prejudice beneath the waves as well, although my parents were very supportive. They weren't happy about it, but that was because they loved me."
