[Will Stanton]

"Hrm? No, no, go ahead...film, right," Will nodded.


The backplate quivered once, then stopped.

[Nina Madaraki]

"Ummm...you might want to put your pants back together," Nina says, putting the film away for safekeeping.

[Will Stanton]

"Hrm? Oh! Oh my," Will said bending over to pick up the backplate.

The full moon was out tonight.

[Nina Madaraki]

Nina collapses to the ground in a fit of giggles.

[Will Stanton]

*Clickschwooooorop*

"There, thats b....what's so funny?"

[Nina Madaraki]

"Your butt!" Nina manages to say, in between giggles.

It is possible she isn't the most mature person in the world.

[Will Stanton]

"What's wrong with my butt!"

[Nina Madaraki]

"Nothing," Nina says, calming down, "Nothing at all."

"It's a very nice butt," Nina says, struggling to keep a straight face.

[Will Stanton]

"If you don't like it, I have others."

[Nina Madaraki]

"And I'm sure they're all lovely," Nina says, "But your wife would be very cross with me if I was staring at your butts all day."

[Will Stanton]

"This is true. This is very true.

We should do something else, then. Something...fun! While you're waiting for science to happen," Will nodded.

[Nina Madaraki]

"What were you thinking?"

[Will Stanton]

"Well, example. I was just a camera. You took film out. What if you put film IN? Or something like that?

When I was the cake, I absorbed the chocolate and frosting and everything, and when I shifted back, I had frosting instead of hair -- but it was still MINE. I somehow incorporated it. It was neat!

I've just got to be prepared -- you know that strange person who stole the DR tech? Well, I was thinking, if we could figure out what she wanted next, I could hide as it and get taken right to her lair. But I need to be careful, in case they started tinkering -- gotta know what can happen if things are added or taken away or mixed or plugged in or..." he rambled.

[Nina Madaraki]

"Alright, that makes sense," Nina says, flexing her fingers, "Plus, it sounds really, really, really fun."

[Will Stanton]

"I figure that it's better to take risks with friends than with foes, you know? And, secret job or not, you ARE one of my best friends. So I trust you."

[Nina Madaraki]

"Awwww, that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me," Nina says, "Now, lay down so I can put things inside you."

[Will Stanton]

"I bet you say that to ALL the X-Team Leaders you bring home," Will joked.

[Nina Madaraki]

Nina thinks for a moment, "...Yes, that is a true statement."

[Will Stanton]

Will lay down.

"You hiding Nightcrawler or Cylclops around here, then?"

[Nina Madaraki]

"That's classified," Nina says. She starts out by prompting Will to turn back into a camera. Then she does what he suggests and tries loading film into him.

Despite having NO business in doing so, the film loaded just fine. A REAL 20s-ish camera wouldn't have fit that, not by a long shot, but WIll apparently didn't know enough about old cameras to be period accurate.

Nina cut the broadcast to see what happens!

[Will Stanton]

"Mmm. Mmm?"

Will blinked.

"Who the hell is Daryl, and...oh my," Will blushed. "Oh my."

[Nina Madaraki]

"If you're going to be embarrassed by all my perversions, we'll be here all day," Nina says, "What's happening? Are you seeing things or remembering them?"

[Will Stanton]

"I'm...it's like I was there.

I mean, like I was really there. THAT doesn't make sense -- cameras don't record taste, generally..."

[Nina Madaraki]

"That is pretty weird," Nina says, "Maybe your brain is just filling in the details. Or you could be experiencing low-grade retrocognition."

[Will Stanton]

"Let me tell you, I'm not sure where my brain would be getting some of these details. I'm a good Christian boy. Or girl. Or camera."

[Nina Madaraki]

"I think you can infer from experience, Will," Nina says, shaking her head, "It is interesting though."

"I wonder how much information capacity your cells have. We should try to come up with a way of loading information directly into them."

[Will Stanton]

"Information capacity?" Will said, confused.

[Nina Madaraki]

"How much data they can store," Nina says, "A lot of shifters have self-contained cells. It allows each part of them to act independently from the others. They usually pull this off by creating a distributed consciousness. Individual cells are dumb, but hook them together and you have a person. There are usual measurable differences in the information capacity each shifter has though."

[Will Stanton]

"You know, that's actually true -- I don't know how to DO it, but Janice split me in two when she baked me, and I was able to function.

Sorta. I was kinda dumb.

But the principle works right.

How would we test my capacity?"

[Nina Madaraki]

"I'd need some equipment," Nina says, trailing off, "Give me a day or two. I'll requisition a few items and bring them to the campus."
