"Don't worry. I'm not a demon. At least I don't think I am," Regan says, sounding a little sad, "I don't even know anymore."

Regan sits up, holding her arm in the air for Aisha. Regan's pulse was very slow and quiet. In fact, it was difficult to even feel.

Regan takes Aisha's hand and moves it to her chest. There's no heart beat.

"So tell me, Aisha," Regan says, "Am I alive?"

"I'll tell you when the conversation is over," Regan says, wings spreading out a bit, emphasizing her demonic aspect.
