I12DT: Happiness Depends On Ourselves

[Mallory Davis]

Which was somewhat new to her. She by no means relied purely on her telepathy to influence people but it had never resulted in this strong a connection before. She regards Regan as she pulls on a satin robe. She didn't even have to steer her when she made the kill and that certainly was a first. It was easy to put that kind of darkness into somebody weak-willed but Regan had brought her own and on some level she found that fascinating. Unlike everyone else who ultimately ended up a hollow shell or a mirror of herself over time.

"It certainly has. You surprised me."

[Regan Rourke]

"Is that a good thing?"

[Mallory Davis]

"You know, it usually isn't but I'm intrigued. I've watched plenty of people die at someone else's hands but never like that. Not when I wasn't the one guiding their hand."

[Regan Rourke]

"They sound like weak, little sheep," Regan observes, "It was the greatest feeling in the world, to hold her life in my hands and just crush it."

"Anyone who doesn't understand that is obviously prey."

[Mallory Davis]

"That's what makes you different. I didn't have to make you see. And now you'll understand why I rarely kill. I already hold all their being. They're extensions of my mind. Sammy would call them puppets but they're not."

[Regan Rourke]

"That's incredible," Regan says breathlessly.

[Mallory Davis]

"Careful, you're getting dangerously sycophant." she smirks.

[Regan Rourke]

"I'm sorry, I've just had an incredible day. It's making me very cheerful," Regan says plainly, "Make no mistake. The moment I sense any weakness in you I will tear out your throat and rip your soul from your body with my bare hands."

[Mallory Davis]

"Lovely." she says without any hint of sarcasm. "The worst thing someone can be is boring."

[Regan Rourke]

"Or predictable," Regan says with a smile full of wickedly sharp teeth.

[Mallory Davis]

"Don't overplay your hand little girl or I'll have to put you in your place. Again." she smirks.

[Regan Rourke]

"And where exactly would that be?" Regan asks, watching Mallory intently as the demon girl runs one claw delicately down her neck and collar, enjoying the feel of the razor sharp edge along her flesh, "I remember there being a few places you wanted me."

[Mallory Davis]

"That probably depends on how bad you've been." she says, reaching out to Regan's mind, causing her to apply a bit more pressure with her claw and making sure the girl notices what she's doing.

[Regan Rourke]

Regan lets out a gasp of surprise as she gives herself a shallow cut with her own claw.

"You bitch," Regan says with a pleased growl. It didn't seem to bother her if someone controlled her. If someone had the power to control you, they deserved to be able to do it. Might makes right.

[Mallory Davis]

"Such language." she shakes her head, snaking Regan's tail around her thigh, probably a little too tight for comfort.

[Regan Rourke]

"Aah!" Regan cries out, falling backwards as the tail cuts into her leg. She spits out a particularly nasty curse at Mallory, apparently not having learned her lesson just yet.

[Mallory Davis]

"You really need to learn some impulse control, young lady." she says, not relinquishing her hold over Regan just yet.

[Regan Rourke]

Regan struggles for a moment, testing the strength of Mallory's hold. When it's clear that there is no getting out, she replies, "Yeah. I get it."

[Mallory Davis]

"I seriously doubt that." she smirks, letting go of Regan's mind but only after letting her tail deliver a quick whip to her butt.

[Regan Rourke]

"What can I say? Demon's are notorious liars," Regan says, rubbing the quickly forming bruise on her leg. The cut she had given herself seemed to have already begun to heal.

[Mallory Davis]

"Are you sure that's not just you?" she asks, curiously watching the cut close up.

[Regan Rourke]

The cut stitched itself up in no time. It seemed that minor injuries wouldn't last long on Regan's new body.

"I always try to avoid lying."

Which was a lie.

[Mallory Davis]

"Just make sure you don't do anything rash. It'd be a shame if I had to regret this." she smiles.

[Regan Rourke]

"That would be a shame," Regan agrees, "Don't worry, I'll be careful with your secrets."

"Especially now that I'm one of them."

[Mallory Davis]

Oh you have no idea my dear.

"And we'll see about rewarding you for that at some point."

[Regan Rourke]

A quick fantasy of various people bent and twisted into serving her as her little playthings.

"I'm looking forward to it," Regan says, greed coloring her every word.
