Library: The Grudge

Up until recently maintained as a museum, the childhood home of the Braddock family has been pressed into service as additional housing and classroom space for the Institute. Additionally, the increased demands have led to the main ballroom being converted into a cafeteria for both the Institute and those University students on a meal plan. Student reactions have been mixed, and reports of paranormal activity are as of yet unsubstantiated.

"Whatever you say, Miss Rourke." she laughs and goes to do more research.

Regan continues to "help" by making a variety of smart-ass remarks and vague threats about Roland.

Vito was a ship's captain for a long time, sailing across the Atlantic Ocean on a regular basis. From the colonies and the Carribean, he would gather sugar, which he would have distilled back home in England for rum. The rum, and other manufactured goods, were then shipped down to Africa, where Vito then bartered them for...human cargo.

The slaves were shipped to the Carribean for sugar, and so the trade continued.

Vito did this for almost forty years before his ship was lost in a storm in the Carribean, with all hands and cargo.

"Now there's a twist. Our ill-dressed professor used to be a slave trader."

"Truly the most disturbing of transgressions. So we found out he's a slaver and featured by proxy in Orlando. Anything else you want to dig up?"
