Amanda blinked in confusion as she looked up at the bar bell above her head. For a moment, she thought it was just the momentary disorientation that hit her when she shifted involuntarily No, I was only shifted for a few minutes...... She sat up and looked around Why am I in the gym. And I'm taller. she looked down Oh My God. I'm a Dude. she said. Loudly enough that the glass shattered.

"Jesus Christ, ow!" Melody yelled, suddenly inside, on a squat machine, and covered in bits of debris from the ceiling, ears ringing.

"Oh...what in the ffff," she said, looking down at her body. This was definitely her ex's favorite shirt.

"Trev? That you, kid?" 'Derek' called out.

"no its not Trev. i'm amanda." she said, trying to whisper, and failing. There was the sound of more glass popping and shattering.

"Jesus fuck ow damnit," she swore, afraid to get closer to 'Trev.'

"Let's learn sign language or some shit unless you can stop screaming," she yelled, her ears ringing.

Amanda nodded in agreement.

Melody came closer. "Okay...so...what happened last to you.... I...I was out fighting these chucklefucks who started attacking the lighthouse."

Melody patted herself, looking for a phone or piece of paper or something. She pulled out Derek's phone. "Here. Text Derek. You've got ear buds, I'm sure that Trev has a phone or something. I know Derek's number."

Amanda dug around in her-Trev's pocket and found his phone.

I was there too.

Amanda texted

I was shifted. Then I was here. I'll try texting my phone, then you text Derek.

Mr. Anderson, I seem to be in your body. I'm in the gym. Where are you?

she hit send, and then passed the phone to Melody.

"Great...my ex and I have swapped bodies. Because things weren't awkward enough...." Melody grumbled.
