The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizeable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days.
"Organizing them towards some sort of goal, probably," Callie says, "I mean, they have vague things they want, but no drive to actually do any of the work to get them done."
"Somewhere in between the two." she chuckles. "Leading the Maldon chapter of the Brotherhood? Sounds reasonable enough and appeals to their urge to do whatever they want."
