The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizeable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days.

After her first taste of classes Mallory is wandering around the gardens, occasionally taking a drag from her cigarette.

Michael was wandering around the gardens as well, just goofing off and occasionally teleporting a few feet rather than walking. He smiled and slowed down when he saw Mallory, "Hello. Nice day, innit?"
