"Why does everybody seem to think I just... point her at people and let her loose? Seriously."

[Calvin Strong]

"Because she gets a mad hate-on for people you don't like and you stick up for her when she's being a horrible little monster?" Cal suggested while he pulled the bottom off the computer.

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah well don't worry, it's not gonna happen anymore."

[Calvin Strong]

"Yeah, she went sour on you, too?" Cal said, not sounding surprised at all. "I still have the plans for some ghostbuster shit that everyone told me I wasn't allowed to make. Want me to dig 'em out again?" He pulled some component or other out of her computer, frowned as he looked it over, then tossed it toward the trash.

[Kay Haddock]

"No I still don't want you to try and kill her. Maybe she'll calm down, I dunno."

[Calvin Strong]

"Okay, seriously, again, that ship already sailed. Even if I'm not one to talk."

[Theresa McMasters]

"You never know. Things seem to change around here at a moment's notice."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal smirked. "Okay, if we get someone here who can bring people back to life, I'll take everything back I've said."

[Theresa McMasters]

"All I'm sayin' is that I'm learnin' never to rule things out entirely."

[Kay Haddock]

"All I know is that she's more than just some stupid ghost that doesn't even know it's dead."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal just smirked like he knew more than he was saying and kept (rather ruthlessly) disassembling the computer. "All right. You all win. Ghostbusting is bad."

[Theresa McMasters]

"I'd say it depends on the ghost," Theresa said as she finished up the washing.

[Kay Haddock]

"She's had a raw deal and she lets it out on others sometimes..." she frowns, though more at Regan and what she said still ringing in her ears.

[Steve Jones]

On his way to grab something to eat, Steve rounded the corner into the kitchen. He stopped when he saw who was there, frowned slightly, turned, and walked away from the potentially awkward situation.

Cal, diplomatically, flipped Steve off without looking up from the computer.

[Kay Haddock]

"Great. That makes two people who hate me now cause of this..." she mumbles.

[Theresa McMasters]

"Eh," Theresa said, glancing back over her shoulder to see who was leaving. "Assholes will be assholes. Shame he feels that way, but his loss."

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah, screw them, I guess."

[Calvin Strong]

"Yeah, jealousy's ugly anyway," Cal commented idly as he started pulling parts out of his backpack to replace all the ones he'd thrown away.

[Kay Haddock]

"Wha? Who would he be jealous of?"

[Calvin Strong]

Cal shrugged. "Big dumb jock sees two girls together, gets pissy because dontcha know, they should be with him!"

[Kay Haddock]

"Oh. Yeah, already thought he had a problem with that..." she mumbles, checking on the oven.

"I think the cookies are done." she says, grabbing two oven mitts to get out the tray.

[Calvin Strong]

"Huh. Wow. Wouldn't it... uh... suck if I found out that I needed one of the things I just threw in the trash that hard?"

[Kay Haddock]

"You did not just break my laptop again..."

[Calvin Strong]

"Nah, I'm just screwing with you," he said, putting another piece in. "Although that'd probably be a net win for you if I just had to replace it."

[Kay Haddock]

"So you're saying you don't want any cookies." she says, putting the tray down.

[Calvin Strong]

"Well, y'know, people'll start thinking I'm nice or something, and then the universe might implode. Soooooo..." he shrugged, putting another piece in place.

[Kay Haddock]

"Right." she says, shooting Theresa a I don't get what his deal is look while letting the cookies cool off.

[Theresa McMasters]

Theresa shrugged at Kay. "You really should do it more often though, Cal. I think it suits you better."
