It took Theresa a minute to parse through Kay's deluge. "I didn't want to risk frying you, that's why I left. And in case you haven't noticed, Brigid's not one to take 'go away' for an answer. She stumbled onto me out there. I didn't want you to get hurt, that's why I tried to get away from you."
