Kelly rubbed his eyes to make them feel better from his studies and walked into the dining hall to grab a bit to eat. He was wearing open toed sandles so that his foot claws wouldn't ruin actual shoes. As he pushed open the door to enter his sandal caught on the ground and he stumbled into the hall. Kelly tried to play it cool like nothing happened but his face was turning red. After regaining his blanace he quickly walked to the chow line ready to eat a lot of fried goodness.
Will, still stuck a la femme, decided to grab some lunch before her trip with Sara later that afternoon. Filling his tray, he goes to a table and sits down.
Kelly had chosen some friend fish with extra chips, chips right? I think that's what they call it here. He never ate anything avain like; the thought was sickening. Kelly kindly handed the lady working the register his money and wished her a good day with a wink and turned around to find a place to eat! The cashier had lunch lady arms but she was friendly and deserved a wink.
Zachary was already sitting down at a table across from Willow. He was on the last few pages of a book that was assigned in one of his classses. He hadn't touched his meal yet and with a relieved sigh, closed the book after he finished reading. He had done nothing but focused on school work since his help with the mission earlier to find Ayami and it was starting to get to him now.
He looked over at the green haired girl and blinked at her. He examined her briefly. "Ah..yes..as always. Do I know you..? There's only one person I know with green hair. Are you a relative?"
Will pauses a second before catching the reference. "Ah! No, no. Honestly, it's the 'unable to shift' more than 'stuck as a girl' thing that's bugging me. It could be worse--I could be stuck as, say, a chair or something."
"Oh. That's quite true. I forgot you can turn into objects as well. Hm. Makes me think they'll probably have some bad mutant college movie made in the future that'll have some guy who can shift, doing stuff like that to spy on or have girls sit on him or something along those lines."
"Heh, heh, yeah" Will laughs, a little nervously. "It IS tempting, if a horrible misuse of one's abilities. I could probably be a good spy, though--problem would be just staying motionless."
"Yeah. Hopefully, you grow out of it, right? Else you give all of us a bad name--it just takes one shifter caught doing that, and suddenly, ALL shifters do that, apparently"
"Pretty much. The stigma would never die. Or just give bad thoughts to good shifters." He smirked. "So, how are you and Sara? Minus any details about things being girl on girl."
Well, the reason I'm stuck like this at all is because of the two of us. She shifts rock, right? I shift INTO rock, right? She absorbed me as a power-synergy test thing......and I got stuck. In her head. For a day."
He wasn't quite sure why that left Will as a girl but he was starting to connect the dots. "So..your thoughts became more as one..and since you were in Sara part of you thought you were a girl...?" He asked, trying to get a grasp of what happened.

"Kinda, more or less. It's a case of 'residual self-image'. Part of my brain got so used to always being a girl that it's resisting my efforts to shift. I'll get over it sooner or later--could be five minutes, could be a month. Who knows?"
"Right. It'll hopefully come back in fits and starts, so I'll have SOMETHING, but if vampires were to burst through the door right now? I'm the damsel in distress."
"Means Sara gets to save you?" He chuckled. "That sort of a funny picture. So since we don't know how long you're gonna be like this, are you tom boying it up or borrowing some clothes?"
"Yeah. You have no idea how many guys have hit on me already today. It turns out, not wearing a bra is a tad conspicuous, 'cause I couldn't borrow any of Sara's..."
"Less awkward than being stuck in her head, honestly. I saw everything she was, felt everything she felt, we heard all of each other's thoughts...very awkward."
"Oh. Of course. I'm sure. It's just..being a girl then being more physically busty must make her feel a little like 'What the hell' when she sees them."
"Then that means she must like them." He said, grinning. "That's good it's not making her worry though. I mean, she could be all 'lets take a break until you're a man again'. So it's nice she's so accepting of this all."
"She's pretty much the greatest person in the history of ever, yeah. I'm not saying it's not awkward, but it's nice to be able to hold each other or whatnot after me being just a crazy voice in her head."
"Nothing but school work. I guess that I was asking. It's nice to see other peoples' lives have been much more exciting than my own lately. Of course, I think I'll be sticking away from going out with the vampire things happening anyway."
"I took a panic button just in case but I guess doing the buddy system stuff will have to do. I really want to get off campus and do something. I've finally got my work caught up so I think I should be good."
