Kay didn't really expect either of them to try and come after her in the first place, so when she tries to slip away from Brigid that leaves her with no time to react to Theresa.

Kay's pretty squirmy (and has a surprising amount of 'hold' in the water even with nothing to latch on to) so instead of pulling her up it suddenly becomes a question of holding her own balance before Kay drags her under the water with her.

With no momentum to work against it she's yanked to the surface by Brigid, laughing as she leaves the water which ends up sounding a little strange with mouth and gills still full of water.
