"Uh.... I have writer's block I think. I don't know what it can do, or what I should pick."

"It can simulate just about anywhere, even other planets."

"Oooh we could run a speakeasy."

"Great idea," he said, selecting the speakeasy variant.

Color washed out of the world as a prohibition era bar materialized around them in black and white, complete with jazz music the illusion of smoke from the cigarettes of the patrons. Steve was now in a suit and fedora.

"Cool..."

Mercy is hidden in a pale bubble for a bit as she chooses her outfit from the Danger Room. Steve may have to clear his throat a couple of times before she finally picks something from the wealth of options, generating an outfit with a lot of black lace.

She looks around once the transformation is complete and giggles. "It really washed the color out?"

"I'm just surprised. I guess it went for actual film noir and not just the time period. Kind of cool, just not what I was expecting! Also there's something funky with this dress...." Mercy goes behind the bar and reaches down.

"Oh... I have a gun on a uh... garter."

"We actually can't drink it?" Mercy rummages behind the bar, pulling out a couple of bottles and glasses. "Holy crap they have a bottle of 1915 Merlo.... oh wait, that's just five years old in this setting."

Mercy makes a pair of white Russians and slides one over to Steve. "So we can't eat or drink in here? It poured okay."

"I'm just trying to figure it all out." Mercy sips the drink experimentally. "I mean, all this stuff appeared. I can lean on the bar, I have new clothes on. If I pulled the trigger on that gun, would it fire?"

She looks around. "You say it's 'not real' but it seems pretty real to me."

"Now you're getting all philosophical. I mean, I know they aren't real people, it's just all so weird." She sips the drink again. "I think you're right, I don't think there's booze in this. But let's say I was really thirsty, and I poured myself a glass of water, and drank it. What then?"
