"God, just...fuck EVERYTHING. I'm done with this horseshit." she screamed.

"I'm gonna be late for my power tutoring. I'm getting the fuck out of here," she mumbled to Cal.

[Calvin Strong]

"So let's get this straight," Cal said, spinning to glare at Kay. If he picked up the thoughts Haley thought at him, there wasn't any indication. All he obviously knew was that he was suddenly outnumbered without backup. "If someone throws up a picture of you naked that you can't get down, that'd be hillarious too, right?" And somehow... It sounded like a question and a threat at the same time.

[Kay Haddock]

"Hey, she's the one who blasted it out into the hallway so shut the fuck up, Cal! And don't you even dare photoshop some kind of bullshit because I didn't do this, okay!" she shouts, pointing a finger at him.

[Calvin Strong]

"Right, your roommate just did it and you had nothing to do with that. Oh, I totally believe that."

[Kay Haddock]

"Oh yeah, I'm sure it totally wasn't cause Haley blasted her in detention, that would make too much sense!"

[Calvin Strong]

"I'm sure it did, but that's beside the point. This is all just a hilarious goddamn joke, right? So it shouldn't be any different when it happens to one of the freaking cool kids."

[Mercy Wilkins]

Mercy takes a drag of her cig.

I'm not sure anyone involved here is 'cool kids'.

Rather than voicing that, she just watches things unfold, letting the Darkforce sink back into her wings until the air around her is clear again.

[Kay Haddock]

"God, you have such a persecution complex." Kay huffs and just walks off.

[Calvin Strong]

"And you're such a fucking hypocrite!" Cal called after her. Bitch...

[Mercy Wilkins]

"So... glad everyone's having such a good time."

[Calvin Strong]

"Yeah, it's been a pretty awesome morning," Cal said, glancing warily back at the door for a moment in case more of Kay's friends started coming out.

[Mercy Wilkins]

"I'm not really up to speed, but the blonde girl is your friend, and the rude ghost chick painted a naked picture of her? How does that even work? I didn't know ghosts could paint."

[Calvin Strong]

"Yeah, I didn't either, but I guess I was wrong. ANd it was in... I dunno, they said ghost-paint, so no one could touch it to wipe it off or cover it up or anything. Really funny, right?"

[Mercy Wilkins]

"Just weird. Are you sure going all vigilante is the best way to deal with it, though?"

She offers Cal a cigarette.

[Calvin Strong]

Cal looked like he considered the cigarette, then shook his head. "No thanks. And what, that thing with Kay? Not really, no. I mean, I'm pretty sure it'd be illegal to even make a fake picture like that, let alone put it up anywhere."

[Mercy Wilkins]

Mercy nods. "Cool. I was hoping you weren't that dumb. Besides, makes you look bad."

[Calvin Strong]

"Eh, everyone thinks I'm a dick anyway. No big change there. I just don't take to being bullied by those assholes. Or watching it."

[Mercy Wilkins]

"No, I mean to the administration. Somebody is going to get heat for this, it might as well not be you."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal shrugged. "That's a bridge to cross when I come to it. I don't know... only a few weeks in and I'm tired of taking their crap." He shook his head, then looked at her again. "I'm Cal."

[Mercy Wilkins]

Mercy smiles slightly. "Mercy."

She finishes the cigarette and drops it, grinding it out with her cute high heeled boot. "Not trying to be pushy. Just suggesting. So you've been here a couple of weeks then? Besides crazy ghost girls, how is it?"

[Calvin Strong]

He shrugged. "Kind of like any school, really. Just smaller. And in a mansion."

[Mercy Wilkins]

"I like the last bit. And so far I have my own room. I really hope nobody else shows up."
