Haley sighed immediately after opening her mouth.

"Sorry. I'm ready to learn. Not your fault, didn't mean to be disrespectful," she said, eager to avoid another detention.

He raised an arm for pure display purposes and at least a hundred of the stones floated up. They arranged themselves into concentric rings by color and began to rotate like some giant gyroscope.

"I also do album covers," he smirked.

"Well, that's why I'm here, I guess right?" she asked, plucking a few stones out of the air and moving them with her TK, each one more awkwardly moving than the one before it.

She clenched her teeth and tried to make them orbit around the two of them, but quickly lost focus, three fell to the ground with a clatter, and in her rush to "catch" the remaining two sent both flying--one straight into Haley's gut and another at her new found tutor's groin if he wasn't fast.

"Sonofabitch!" she gasped.

Haley turned her attention to a beanbag, and focused on it, slowly raising it into the air, and trying to keep it motionless. It wobbled after five seconds, and kept wobbling, but didn't drop until the ten seconds was actually up.
