"Yeah. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to leave or not, so I snuck out. Technically I floated out..." she said, demonstrating by raising herself a few inches off the ground and floating forward without moving her legs.

"Oh, cool," she grinned as she approached the building and her window. "Lemme try on my own first, and then see if I need it..."

Haley closed her eyes and cleared her mind, letting out a deep, slow breath. "C'mon..." she whispered. Slowly, she started to raise off the ground, she made it about five feet off the ground before she grit her teeth and realized it was going to be hard to get much higher.

"Shit..." she whispered. "Teri...can you help?"

Teri wasn't there anymore. Well, technically she was, but as a swirling cloud of bugs that converges on Haley. Thousands of tiny feet tugging and pulling on her clothes and arms as the combined cloud slowly lifts her up.

Whoa...

Haley rose through the air much faster with assistance, pulled open her window as quietly as she could and put her feet through, sitting on the ledge.

"Thank you," she mouthed to the cloud of bugs as she found her feet inside and stood up. She turned around and waved.

Haley smiled and closed her window quietly, and slipped back towards bed. Hopefully her roommate was still gone or was fast asleep...
