Personality: Raven is a witch. Really, for reals. No one believes her, but she's working hard.
Background; Pre-XU: Trini was your regular rich, somewhat spoiled sub-urban teenager rebelling against her parents by picking up some kind of Wiccan-inspired belief system--she thinks that it's her belief that is causing her abilities, but, in actuality, that's all window dressing for a small amount of physiopsychic manipulation--she has the ability to use biological cantrips to influence their origins--a love potion with the tears of the person involved, for instance. She believes her power comes from chanting and ritual and expensive shoes, but that is entirely secondary. Her mutation didn't really change things much and since she seemed to be doing okay (and wasn't obviously a mutant) her parents didn't really consider sending her to Xavier's or the Academy of Tomorrow so she stayed at her regular highschool.
