Power: Christie is super-strong and invulnerable, as long as her body is in contact with the earth. If there is air between her and the earth, her power doesn't work, if water, she is weaker and can be hurt, but has some protection.

Non-mutant abilities: Christie is a typical highschool student, although training at XI has gotten her into good shape, and she's better at fighting and strategy than the average highschool student. She's also learned to be good at psychic defense, at least compared to most non-telepaths.

Physical Description: Slim build, 5'6", 130 lbs. She has straight sandy blonde hair, and blue eyes.

Personality: Christie is outgoing, and also a bit cocky. She is very overprotective of her younger brother, Tommy. Underneath the brash exterior, she is still recovering from her mother's death.

Background: Christy is the middle sibling in the Bowen family.. She tries to set a good example for her younger brother, Tommy, and is determined to follow in her older brother and father's footsteps and become a super hero.
After their mother died, and the family moved to upstate New York, Stan and Bobby's frequent abscences meant that she and Tommy became very close and learned to take care of each other.
When her power manifested a couple of years ago, her only real regret about heading off to Xavier's was that she'd be away from her little brother, and she was very happy when Tommy manifested his powers and he joined her at Xavier's.
The move to the UK has been a bit difficult, emotionally, but she's glad that the family is together again.

Retcons: No future stepmother to hate on, so things are a bit better with her dad.
