Sept 21st - A Lunch Outdoors

Niles felt like eating outside today, so after getting his food he headed out to the Quad and found a tree to sit down under. He tossed his book bag to the side, then leaned back up against the tree.

For food he had a submarine sandwich, a bag of chips, and a soda. He took out the sub first, partially unwrapped it and took a bite.

"Popular tree," Alex chuckled as he walked up in his mock X-Uniform."

Niles looked up at Alex, a motioned to wait a bit. After he was finished chewing his current bite he responded.

"It is a nice tree, I can see why. Oh, and hi. I'm Niles, good to meet you"

He held up his lunch.

Niles takes some time to figure out what he should say next. Not sure how best to ask the fungus question he goes on to something else.

The area in front of Niles right hand begins to glow. When it subsides Niles is holding a screwdriver.
Niles twirls it around once, then sets it down on the grass on the side closest to Alex.

"I can do swords and knifes, but crossbows are probably a little too complex. I've been working on something like that but it just has too many parts. I've been thinking about a regular bow, but then I'm going to have to learn how to aim with them."

Niles blanks out a bit as he is imagining something in his head. "It hard to imagine some of these guys being merry, it would be just so... "

He then suddenly snaps out of it shaking his head. "..oh my god. It is so horrible. I think I'm scarred for life."
