Summer - What's so haunted about this?

[Kay Haddock]

Kay wanders into the pool area again for the first time since she ran into Brigid and Theresa here. Even with so few people here she had kept herself from coming here because it seems like such an obvious thing, as if she really was a fish. But the lure of having a pool all to herself that she won't get kicked out of is too big so here she is and with an inrun that has her webbed feet slapping at the tiled floor she dives headfirst into the water.

[Aisha Khan]

Well, maybe not quite to herself, since Aisha was doing laps.

[Kay Haddock]

She spotted the water not being still as she dove in but once inside she looked around to see who was swimming in the pool, blinking when all she saw from beneath the water was the surface splashing. Not really sure what to make of that she slowly paddles backwards to the rim while raising to the surface.

"H-hello?"

[Aisha Khan]

"Oh! Hi!" Aisha said "I didn't mean to startle you, I didn't know anyone else was here."

[Kay Haddock]

"Y-yeah, me neither..." she says, still s little confused.

[Aisha Khan]

"I'm over here." Aisha said, splashing the water "I'm invisible."

[Kay Haddock]

"You're... oh!" Dipping her head underwater for a moment she squints her eyes and vaguely makes out a person-shaped 'hole' in the water. "Whew, good thing I didn't hit you when I jumped in."

[Aisha Khan]

"I didn't think of that." Aisha said "I'll have to watch out for that."

[Kay Haddock]

"I don't think I've seen you ar--" she trails off when something occurs to her.

"Are you always invisible?"

[Aisha Khan]

"Yeah, I am." Aisha said.

[Kay Haddock]

"Oh gee! I'm sorry. No wonder I haven't seen you around."

[Aisha Khan]

"Thanks." Aisha said "Thats why I'm here, to see if I can learn to control it."

[Kay Haddock]

"Man, everyone's here to get their thing under control, I just get to listen that I don't look like a freak." she jokes and it even works for the most part.

[Aisha Khan]

"If it makes you feel better, I don't even know how I look anymore."

[Kay Haddock]

"Oh! Oh god, that must suck. I hadn't even thought about that..."

[Aisha Khan]

"yeah, it really does." Aisha said "and it doesn't help that everyone is all 'oh, it must be so awesome to be invisible', because no, it really isn't."

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah, it's like everyone keeps telling me how great this is and how I don't look weird at all..."

[Aisha Khan]

"You don't look like a vanilla human." Aisha said "But its up to you if that is a good thing or not."

[Kay Haddock]

"Kinda up to other people too..."

[Aisha Khan]

"Well, yeah, but a lot of people think that its cool not to look like a regular human." Aisha said "Ok, a lot of people don't, but those people are assholes."

[Kay Haddock]

"I guess. But it feels like those assholes are the majority."

[Aisha Khan]

"Which doesn't make them right." Aisha said "And I know that the grass is always greener, but I wouldn't mind looking...a little weird, if I could be seen at all."

[Kay Haddock]

"Feels like a lot of us would trade if we could."

[Aisha Khan]

"Yeah, the grass is greener and all that."

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah. Though always being invisible would really suck. I didn't even know you were here. Like, at the school."

[Aisha Khan]

"Yeah, I know."

[Kay Haddock]

"Sorry... Maybe you could walk around with an ipod turned way up? Then people wouldn't miss you."

[Aisha Khan]

"I don't think I could quite pull off having a theme song." Aisha said "Seriously, though, I've been thinking about bells."

[Kay Haddock]

"That's what I thought of first but it seemed... I dunno... mean."

[Aisha Khan]

"It is a little bit like a cat, yeah."

[Kay Haddock]

"Hence, theme song. But yeah, it's all a little awkward..."

[Aisha Khan]

"But less awkward than people sitting on me."

[Kay Haddock]

"That happened before?"
