"Chloe, you are... a girl of extremes." Simon sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Either you are madly in love with me, or all I do is bring you pain and anger. There doesn't see to be an in-between. I can't rush into this because as we are right now; no matter how long I try to keep that high going that just means that somewhere down the line things will shift even more drastically to a terrible low. I mean... Christ, Chloe, we're still kids. I can't even drink back home. I can't be thinking about marriage and mortgages and raising a family. I've got school and student loans and saving the world and a job to worry about. Well, had a job. And you've got those things to think about too."
Simon sat down on the coffee table. "I just... if you don't start being more relaxed about this and just letting things happen one of us is going to have a heart attack."
