End of orientation: waiting for a delivery

Postby Thomas Bowen » Sun Jan 15, 2012 7:44 pm

tommydelivery tommy was waiting outside, close to the main road leading to the dormitories.

It was oddly chilly for a June morning, and Tommy shivered with his scrawny frame.

the wizard hat was a bit warm, though.

Brigid, meanwhile, was on her way back from the Rec Center with a towel draped about her shoulders.

She looked... less mousy than when Tommy had last seen her.

tommy, well, he reacted as you might expect. He caught himself staring a little and looked away, turning a bit red. But, that helped with the chill as well.

"H-Hi, Brigid.." he said, making a smile.

Is he freaking out? He's freaking out. Crap.

"Oh hey there... Tommy, was it? I'm... ah... just getting back from a swim." There was a bit of a flush on her cheeks as well.

Without waiting to be asked, Tommy, looked on the ground, finding a discarded soda tab. Holding it in one hand he waved his other hand, causing the drink tab to shimmer slightly. When the light faded, the tab was gold colored.

"How about you? What can you do that brings you here?" he asked, checking the soda tab with his eye, looking for imperfection in his work.

"that.. That's really cool!" tommy said, impressed.

Smiling, he dropped the now gold pop tab in her hand.

"So, you are now the master of popping soda cans."

"...kind of. I guess. There's not too much you can do with just a pop top."

...except I could probably lodge it up your nose from here. No, bad Brigid!
