Reporter - "That's quite a statement Mr. Flint. But why wait until the University has opened to stage your protest?"

Flint - "Well, it's not like we've done nothing. Groups have been writing to Parliament since this mess started. But they haven't listened and now we have to make it as public an issue as we can, so that people will realize the danger they're in."

Reporter - "Thank you for your time Mr. Flint. This is John Foster, bringing you the latest news on London's newest University for The Guardian."

Reporter - "And cut. Thank you again Mr. Flint. We'll have this piece up by tonight. Here's my card if you have any other conflicts with the students to report."

Flint - "I'm sure we will. And I'll send you a copy of the police report we file."

Reporter - "Thank you again sir." He shakes Flint's hand, and then motions to his crew. "Fan out a bit, get some wider shots of the protest, and then a few of the school, get as many students in the shots as you can."

The video crew and a couple of men with still-cameras move out to take shots of the crowd and the protesters, then walk on to the campus and start taking footage and pictures.

Merle makes sure to get another student interviewed. The man was quite reasonable, sure, but he was making numerous blanket statements and had several flawed arguments.

Where was everyone ELSE? He tried to call the college's main number and get in touch with public relations. Someone would have to deal with this.

And who was the idiot who attacked the head of the mob? What a bloody idiot.

Coming from the direction of the Zub Sara hurries along the edge of the Quad, heading for the dorms, trying to avoid the reporters roaming the campus.

John headed across the Quad towards the XUB, pulling up his hoodie and ignoring the cameras.

Ryan, in the meantime, was now flying high over the campus, watching everyting between tight turns around the building as he practiced his maneuvering.

Merle sighs. Someone-else's problem, whatever.

He makes sure someone from PR is on their way and heads off to grab some lunch.

The reporters try to interview a couple of students but all they get are short statements and stammering kids.

Lumis walks across the quad, but few of his students would reconize him, even his colleges might have difficulty. He's wearing a conservative suit, and his skin is normal looking. Just a normal, pale caucasian tone. His hair is blonde, and his eyes are normal, blue, not glowing, not solid colored.

He steps over to the reporter, John, with a smile on his face and shakes the man's hand.

"Hello sir, great to see The Guardian out at our campus. Is there something I can help you with? I'm Domanic Taylor, with the University Board."

The conversation is brief, but Lumis gives an on-camera interview afterwards, and makes sure that he's allowed to address all the issues that Flint brought up, or at least all the ones that the reporter remembers. He poses for pictures, and generally does everything he can to make the reporters happy before they get back in their van and go.

Once the van is out of sight, Lumis looks over at the protesters, letting his regular coloration return. His expression is no longer happy at all.

Infatigueable, the Protesters continue their chants.

"X Teams are Death Teams!"

"X Teams are Death Teams!"

"X Teams are Death Teams!"

Happy to see the reporters gone, Ryan swooped down, coming to a running stop behind Lumis. "I don't suppose that it would help our case much if we blinded them? Because I'm sure that between the two of us we could manage the whole group."

"Good. Let me or security know right away if they do." He smiles, friendly now that he's talking to John instead of looking at the protesters. "I'm Lumis, by the by. I'm on the faculty."

Lumis shakes his head at Ryan. "Either one of us could take the whole group out. But I won't be, and you won't either, right?"

"Just Lumis is fine. Good to meet you John."

"Ryan, this is a delicate situation. Unlike what happened at the high school, we will resolve this quickly. But I need you to not hurt the cause. If you want to help, I'm going to be putting people to work. But don't even joke about attacking them where they can hear you."

Once the early-evening rush of people going home from work is over, the protesters pack it in, and head off, toward the nearest Tube station.
